Let's get drunk!
Wonderful investment. On a 5 gallon batch of wine I got 5 extra bottles I'd have composted. That's a 20 percent gain on my small batch. Thanks for making quality equipment!

Not a bad price
It’s a nice press but my stupidity you need a grinder or you won’t get any juice

Great press
This press works great for apples and pears, although you need to grind them into small pieces first. The bag it comes with helps for very small pieces and extracts quite a lot of juice.Occasionally when I don’t have a full bin, the press will not press evenly and I have to rearrange the pulp, but overall I would recommend. The handle is robust and I’ve put quite a lot of torque on it and kicked ~200l in the first season and there are no problems. Would buy again.

The threaded rod is not stainless
It says right in the instructions that you shouldn't let it get wet and you are supposed to coat it with food-grade grease to prevent rust. Plus, the rod grinds out the threaded hole in the cast cross-brace so by our second batch there were metal filings accumulating on the top and falling into our apples. Not cool. It's a fruit press, of course it's going to get wet and messy, it should be made with rust-proof components, especially for the price. I could have made the thing in the shop for cheaper.
