Q: Do you think this would work on saliva stains around the mouth?

For the sake of your pet, please don't use this product. Don't take my word for it, Google it. My dog's friend died from this stuff. There is an antibiotic in it that has never been approved for dogs or cats. Please look it up. These are unapproved animal drugs that have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. The tear stain removers contain an antibiotic called tylosin tartrate, which is not approved for use in dogs and cats, or for treatment of conditions associated with tear stains.

Q: The description says to sprikle it on the dog food, but the label says Dog Chews, Which is right?

They are chews. Our dog is 4lbs so we give him 1/2 at night and that seems to work well.

Q: Can I give this product to my two month Maltese?

I don't know but I have been giving it to my 7 year old Maltese for about a month and her eyes are getting brown stains. Before that I had used the same product in powder form with much more success. I do not recommend this product at all
