The HERO you need to sit on.
I've looked at, and tried out a large number of gaming and office chairs over the years trying to find the elusive one that fits, and this is the hero that puts an end to that search. The initial impression when the box turned up was “huge” and reassuringly heavy, upon opening the box up you discover that there is no wasted space, it's not just a big box for show.Everything is very well packaged to prevent damage in transit, and as you start to unpack the parts you realise how well constructed and solid everything is, which should come as no surprise for a chair that is rated up to 180kg (about 28 stone)Building the chair was straightforward with a total of 11 bolts and two screws (a spare of each is included), and it comes with a combination allen key/cross head screwdriver that does the job so no need to hunt around for tools, and took about 30-45 minutes to assemble taking my time. The instructions suggest two people for assembly, which would certainly make it easier when putting the back on, but that is about the only point where there is any minor difficulty when assembling on your own.The instructions are clearly laid out, and printed as a glossy instruction book which is a nice touch and gives an idea of the attention to detail that has been put into the chair's design and packaging. The main frame feels solid and is made out of steel, whilst the back is supported by the spring loaded steel hinges, and the base is cast aluminium (rather than the injection moulded plastic on many cheaper chairs).Once built the Hero is a big, imposing and extremely nice looking chair, but the looks are definitely secondary to to the comfort and usability, and this is an area that Noblechairs have most definitely not overlooked. This is a chair that will offer you comfort and support even when you are over 6 foot tall, with a back that is high enough to rest your head on when you're 6'3”, making it one of the few I've seen that is comfortable to use for a long period of time and even take a nap in.The package includes a pair of cushions, one for your head/neck, and one for your lumber region allowing you to add an extra level of comfort and support where you want it.There are a large range of adjustments available to the user, not just the standard Gas lift & Seat Tilt, as in addition to those you have many other options which include. The separate seat back angle. The adjustable Lumber support.Whilst the arms have 4 areas of adjustment:Arm rest height.Arm rest in/outArm rest angleArm rest forward/backWhich allow you to set them to a position that is comfortable for how and where you want them. The seat height is adjustable between about 49cm and 57 using the gas lift, but Noblechairs also sell several different heights of gas lift unit separately ifyou need a lower chair (depending on which one you chose the seat could be lowered to ~44cm), this is a nice touch if the chair would otherwise be a little tall. All in all a chair that is not only nice looking, but extremely well thought out and well worth the money, especially if you are sat at your desk for long periods of time, be it doing work, gaming, model making, or just leaning back and watching TV.

Absolutely top notch!
I'm not going to review how to assemble this chair because there are plenty of guides on YouTube already.I've been looking for a good, solid, comfortable gaming chair for some time and after spending some time researching, I decided to buy the Noblechairs HERO in black with red trim (because my car has black seats with red trim and I like how it looks). It arrived a day later and the DPD driver almost had a hernia carrying it up the path. This is a big chair and it's heavy with a great quality feel about it. In fact, everything to do with this chair screams quality, even down to the fact that they supply extra an extra bolt and screw in case you manage to drop one of them and have it roll away.Following a mixture of the glossy and very easy to understand instruction manaual and looking at YouTube, I had my chair assembled in less than half an hour. It took some time for me to get the chair adjusted perfectly because there are so many different ways to move it from height, rake, lumbar and the arm rests height, sideways and back to front.Only one tool is needed, a single allen key with a cross head screwdrive on the other end. I've sellotaped it to the bottom of the chair in case I ever need to use it again. The instructions do say that the chair is easier to assemble with two people but really, I didn't need two and managed it easily myself.I've now has my chair for a few days and it's very comfortable. It's nicely firm which is exactly how I like a chair to be. I've locked the back into position but it can be left able to recline, with the tension adjustable so that you can go between easy to recline or very hard.I said before that it's a big chair and it certainly is that. With the arms at their widest point, even the most enthusiastically large gamer will fit on this chair. I have the arms the closest in they'll go and it's just right for me. I don't feel squashed in and neither am I lost in the chair.A minor thing to mention is the quality of the coasters. This chair is the most easy to move around out of any I've owned. The coasters are top notch and it only takes a slight push for the chair to go across the room like a rocket. There are two cushions supplied as well as the built in adjustable lumbar support. One is a neck rest and held in place by elastic and the other just sits at the bottom of the back. I'm not generally one for cushions on chairs but this does work and adds to the comfort.I'm using this as an office chair as well as a gaming chair and you can see from the picture that it's in my cluttered radio shack (also a dumping ground for 'stuff'). I'm still at the stage of smiling whenever I enter my shack as the chair just looks so damn good! This is a very well designed chair and I expect it to last me many years.
