I found the spring easy to install on my garden gate and it does the job nicely. My only concern is when tensioning the spring be careful the tensioning bar does not slip and catch your fingers.

Good gate spring but I returned it as too small for what I needed.

Well made and easy to fit. My gate kept blowing open in stone northerly winds. This simple solution keeps it shut. You can adjust the tension so it stays closed but doesn't slam shut every time. Loved how easy it was to fit, wish I had thought of it sooner.

Fitted today not a difficult as I thought. Works well, so I’m really pleased.

If you have heavier gate you need to get the spring very tight.The pin provided is not long enough to get enough leverage.

Pretty straightforward & does the job, but the holding pins that maximise the tension tend to fall out, so make sure you keep the spare (provided) in a safe place!

Great item just a little difficult to fit but it does give great tension
