My kiddo is very particular about his clothes, especially when playing sports. These were perfect for flag football. He loves wearing them. They have held up well, even with sports. Just to clarify, these don't have pockets and are one piece, not a separate pair of shorts and pants. That was perfect for us, but I wasn't sure about those details from the description.

My son and I couldn't figure out from the listing image whether this was a pair of pants with a pair of shorts or if it was one item of clothing made to look like two. It is the latter. We were hoping for the two items so he could swap out the pants and shorts, but the combo will work. It took me a minute to convince my son to wear them the first day, but he ended up really liking them. I think his friends thought they were cool, so he was less worried about the new, different style. In terms of quality, I'd say it's somewhere mid-spectrum. The fabric feels nice and the stitching is decent. My toddler did accidentally pull out the drawstring the first day, but I imagine most people aren't going to have that problem.
