How would a 5 year old do with this?

If a 5 year old is into transformers, he/she might be interested in the figure. But in my honest opinion, I think it's more of a collector type of figure. You wouldn't want that figure to be ruined right away. Just wait until he/she is a bit older and manage to be a great transformers collector someday.
