Gets the Job Done
It was a good headset until my cat literally just chewed through it. I find myself looking for something better to replace it, but can't find anything else to suit my needs.I am a person who likes to play games using my speakers for game sound, to still hear my environment, but want to be able to communicate with the people I am playing with. This headset gets the job done. With the jack input/output I can easily split the channels and still hear what is going on around me. The noise cancellation on the mic sensitivity is decent, and I can hear people clearly (don't know what that other review is about) without having some heavy bulbous thing on my head that cuts me off from the rest of the world. The downside is you can't move the boom of the mic all the way around, so it is stuck always on your left ear, kind of tiring. I personally, always have issues with headsets because I either have a small head and/or my ears are higher than most, so the band doesn't adjust small enough for me (this is common for me with nearly all headsets), and it kind of hurts my head after a while. It's just disappointing that there's a real lack of progress in this type of headset. The market caters to the full headset style and thus the uni-aural style is bland. I would love a wireless option that hooked onto my ear for PC, or some fun colors or something, but it just isn't happening. I guess until these are sold out and I'm forced to use the giant headphones that fit even worse than this, I'll keep buying these and chase my cat away from the wire.

I bought it for the microphone.
I'm planning to use this headset with my mobile ham rig. I have a speaker in the car and I'll be keeping that so I really don't care how well the single earpiece works. I would have been quite happy if it didn't have one at all. But, oh my, that microphone is fine! I plugged it into my desktop soundcard and did a short voice recording using Audacity. The result sounded like a full-sized microphone with good voice highs and lows. It was quiet and smooth like a good mic should be. At this very modest price I may buy another to use in the home rig. I'd imagine that it would be a great blogger mic, as well.

Sennheiser PC Headset
This unit is essentially a plug n play device. No configuration needed. Head is clear and loud while the microphone is crisp.

Poor audio quality
It's surprisingly difficult to find a mono headset that uses a standard 3.5mm audio jack, and I really wanted to like this, but it's just not up to the task. On the plus side, it's fairly comfortable and the microphone seems to work well (I've never had someone complain that they can't hear me). But on the negative end, the audio coming out of that single earpiece is very unclear. I often have to ask people to repeat themselves, whether I'm using the headset with my phone or Skype on my computer. In addition, the connector still isn't what I was looking for. It has a split cord, with a separate jack for mic and audio. To use this with a phone or computer, we needed to get another short cable to recombine the signals. In short, this seems designed for older computers, and the sound quality is mediocre at best. Going to have to keep looking (or break down and get a stereo headset, I suppose).

Works great for the price
A really great product for the price. Have used it several times and no complaints whatsoever. Sound it fine and still clear if you turn up the volume. Would definitely buy again or may get another for a spare.

This is trash
With that brand name Sennheiser they should be embarrassed. I discarded the unit, did not even bother to return it.

Good noise cancellation
Great noise cancellation. Lackluster volume, but overall a great value. I can play Battlefield with my explosions booming over my gigantic speakers four feet to my left and right, and nothing but my voice gets through on the mic.

Sounds good, lightweight, jolly good microphone
Presents good value at this price for teleconferencing. It doesn't eat a USB port (2 x 3.5mm jacks), has a long enough cable to allow for flexible configuration, and the microphone seems to be punching above its weight.Thankfully, it is relatively lightweight and has an adjustable headset for those long meetings.
