I have had this watch for a year now, and it still works fine, I don't wear it anymore because it is nerdy.If you want to turn off the beeping sound from when you press the buttons, just press and hold on the silver button on the right side of the watch for a few seconds.Pros-Works great for what it is made for (telling time, being a calculator, and an alarm.-The band is easy to adjust (pull up a lock on the watch band and slide it into place)-Nice for school during math class if I forget my scientific calculator-the screen does NOT scratch easily-it is so easy to check the date(great for school also), just press the ÷ button and it shows the timeCons-No back-light/illuminator-The metal band scratches easily-The metal band looks cheap-The band rips your arm hair out.So all in all, this is a great watch besides the metal band, because it is kinda cheap. But i would recommend buying it if you want to do math easily and check time all on your wrist

I've been using Casio calculator watches since probably the 1980's, and this watch has the same features, it just looks better, and the nice stainless-steel band looks like it will last for decades. And the watch seems sturdier than the cheaper resin watches. I think this watch will provide good service until the battery goes dead, which will probably be at least 5 years (based on my experiences with similar Casio calculator watches in the past). This survey asked me to rate the "Built in light", but I didn't find a light yet, I'm not sure that it has a light.

I've had a number of the black plastic version of this product for years and found them very reliable and accurate. I've been looking for a silver version to use a twist-o-flex type watch band as well as look a little sharper for years and finally ran across this one. However, the description is misleading as the watch itself is not Stainless Steel, but rather silver plastic(only the back & the band is SS). Still it works keeps time with the atomic clock and I use the alarm and calculator daily so I'm not disappointed. I wish Casio made one exactly like this only with a light for the display. The ones they make with lights have to much other "junk" and aren't as easy to use the calculator or set alarm which can be done within just a few seconds.

When I learned to tell time... Maybe 4 or 5 (1995 or 1997), I don't remember.... I learned with an analog clock, old fashion. When I learned digital I wondered why anyone ever made an analog face. I get it though it's nice and timeless.But when I started earning money, like 5 or 6. I saved up 20 dollars and found a couple bucks for tax and bought the one everyone on these reviews knows and loves.I had that watch for almost 10 years, I really didn't use it. It felt special. When I turned 18 and started working real jobs. I bought another black one and have worn either the original or the larger databank with the resin or stainless steel band (neither are water resistant but do have back lights). I never felt like any of them fit the bill besides the common black Casio calc watch.When I saw this, I had to give it a shot. I tried them all. Literally I have bought any one that is in retail stores today.This one is my favorite. The band is better than any other Casio calculator watch. The face and buttons are that of the original. But it looks so much better. It's not overly thick like the large databank. It's water resistant. The backlight, I can live without. I have a illuminator and g shock for the moments I will be in the dark in the middle of nowhere without zero light from anything.This is the best one and I will continue to buy this version from here on out. It's the look i want but grown up.

My husband has worn this style of calculator watch for 20 years but with the black plastic band. This is the first time I've seen it in the silver so I got it for him for Christmas. He loves it! He feels like he is dressed up when he wears it. I got him this one and a spare black band one. He has only worn this one. I have a feeling I will be replacing the silver one over the years as we have replaced his black ones every few years. They don't last forever if you wear them every day. He is very hard on things like this and he is pleased with the performance. This is a great watch and my husband loves it. He won't wear anything else for everyday use. I would recommend it for any guy that likes having the calculator functionality. Come on guys, dress yourselves up a bit.

The instructions for setting the time and date were wrong. Casio's website instruction for this watch are in CHINESE ONLY.*Unless a watch can be set, it has no value.

All you need is a pocket protector and you'll all set!!! I bought this because I think its fun!!! Yep, those server will never get a penny more than 15% out of me again!!! I told my wife, I am going to wear this everyday until she lets me get the rolex I want!!! Just kidding!!! I'm going to put it in my will for my son in law, the engineer!!!

Growing up, I had many of the black plastic versions of this watch. For this price point you get the "grown up version" of the aforementioned watch. Super easy to adjust the band and I was able to correct the time, date and month without using the instructions. the watch has just the right amount of heft and it looks and feels good. Can't beat the quality and functionality for this price point.
