When I add a new 9V battery, it goes over the top, but at least once a day ... it stops on top. Then it waits for me to get it started again. So much for perpetual motion. It does get better once the battery drains some.

Works, just doesn't keep going even after a new battery.

Nothing "perpetual" about it. Motion stops in less that 1 minute. Don't buy. Not worth the cost to send back. Threw mine in the trash.
