Great Design; Problematic Execution
I really want to like these. The design is excellent, and the materials are high quality. They fit well, and really do a great job of shielding my palms and fingers on those few exercises where I want some protection (hammer curls, e.g.), without getting in my way like full-on gloves. This would be a 5-star review except for one not-so-minor problem: workmanship. The velcro tape on the wrist wraps is not properly finished. Ergo, when I wear the Spartan Grips, the unfinished edges of the velcro digs into the skin of my wrists and forearms. I wind up trading minor palm and finger discomfort for painful pinching and scratching of my wrists and arms by the hard edges of the velcro. They literally left me bleeding yesterday morning. I tried trimming them with scissors, but this attempt at alleviating the discomfort was only partially successful. I'm not a whiner, I don't mind pain for gain, and I get the whole "blood on the bar" thing. But the pinching and abrasion caused by these grips is a bit too, well, Spartan for my taste.

Velcro tape digs into wrist
Well, I have only wear them twice and so far is not looking good. The fit is alright but like some one else stated the Velcro tape around the wrist area is digging into my wrists specially when I flex/bend my hands, it makes it so uncomfortable, the only way around it is if I left it loose around the wrist but then is not much of a wrist support. So, ok let's say you leave it a bit loose and you are not bending your hands too much then is manageable. But then after my first workout with them that consisted of toes to bar, I got a blister on my left hand on the palm right below my middle finger. The second time I wore them it kept bothering me on my blister area, so I stopped using them. I do wonder if maybe I just need to wear them a bit more and see if they get better. Oh yeah I order the medium, maybe other sizes are better? I'm thinking of giving them another try but honestly I don't think they are worth the price.

Poor Execution Dooms These Gloves...
I was hoping these gloves would be the answer. They are not...Specifically, I was looking for a glove that would prevent calluses during pull-ups and toes-to-bar, as well as provide wrist support when doing barbell work. Basically, I wanted a more complete version of the Fit Four Gripper (which I have and like, except for the fact it rolls up under my palm during rig workouts). Unfortunately, these gloves fail at their designated task of helping me stay on the bar.As you can see from the pictures, the "anti-slip silicone" is already peeling away from the glove on both middle fingers. This is after only about 10 uses. It's hard to see in the pictures, but the surface has also become smooth and slick. I've used them with and without chalk and the chalk only seems to make it worse. In addition, you can see that the Velcro on the wrist wraps is destroying the fabric of the wrap. Aesthetically, it doesn't bother me, but I'm sure that after continued use, it will get harder and harder for the Velcro to hook. That would mean I'd need to loosen or overly tighten the wrap in order to find fresh fabric. That doesn't seem well-designed for continued use...I would have given this product 1 star, but the concept of the glove is good. It's the execution where it fails.1) "Anti-slip silicone" shouldn't wear away and become slick after 10 uses.2) The interior securing Velcro strip should hook to Velcro, not fabric.3) The Fit Four product return window should be longer than 30 days. Some people don't work out every single day and not every workout calls for gloves. I would have liked to have returned and replaced these gloves with fresh ones in the hopes that I just got a bad set, but the return policy doesn't allow me to do that.

Great glove
After using these during my crossfit workouts for the last month or so I decided to write a review..These things work, plain and simple, haven't had any ripped hands and always have a good sturdy grip when doing gymnastic moves (pull-ups ,T2B, ect.) and barbell work. Only thing I noticed was they do get a little slick when sweaty (I live in florida with 90+ degree heat and sweat on command) but the fix for that is just put a little chalk on the glove and it's as tacky as ever... Problem solved***** 6 month update*****After 6 months of use I still stand by these gloves, the silicone at this point is starting to peel off but that's after 100+ workouts, I'd say that they have at least another 6 months to go until I need another pair.. One tip if you sweat like me, wear sweat bands on your forearms above these and they don't get as wet.. And still don't be shy with the chalk either

These are exactly all I'd hoped for from the great fit, the materials used are quality
These are exactly all I'd hoped for from the great fit, the materials used are quality, the wrap around my wrist is great additional support to kettlebell, lifting, and bar exercises...BUT I've used them less than 2 weeks and the pinky stitching is falling out! Yes, I will sew them, but for the money they could have stitched them better since they are meant for rugged use. I did find the Velcro wrap around wrist uncomfortable, as in rubbed, first couple days, but now its ok. These are nice quality gloves, just bummed they're already unraveling.

OCR perfect!!
Used these yesterday for a spartan sprint race. worked very well. No issues with grip or uncomfortable fit. Love the additional wrist support. Threw them straight into the wash when I got home, laid out to dry, and they’re ready to go again today. I’ll be using them for my next race!

Very positive!
So far, I've used for about 6-7 Crossfit work-outs. Doesn't seem to impede my grip when doing cleans, but I haven't worn yet for any snatch lifts. Been very good for dumbbell (snatch and clean) and pull-ups (weighted, strict, kipping, and butterfly). I've already seen a little wear-and-tear, but I feel it's normal. Also, the wrist supports are good! The only downside is that they're not easy to take on-and-off. So, once they're on... Keep 'em on for the rest of the work-out.
