Great addition to your pool .
Great sturdy set of steps . I have a daughter with a disability and these make it easier for her to go up and down . Safe handle rails . Easy to install .

Nice, but needs a way to keep the door open while you’re in there
Nice sturdy steps, love the ability to lock it. Then only thing I don’t like is that the door closes behind you and it’s kind of scary to bend down to release the lever to open it while you are on top of the ladder. And then it still tries to close and you have to keep it open with your body as you are going down the steps.

Stable and large!
1 billion x better than the ladder my 12x24 Intex pool came with. I’m 53 female and it took me 6 hours to put together. It was not easy but I’m not the best craftsman. I used pea gravel and my 30 yo son helped me to hoist it over and into the pool, was not that heavy even with filling with about 30 lbs of pea gravel. You can’t use anything larger than pea gravel or it will get stuck. I didn’t use the door as I don’t have small kids to worry about. I’m getting a mat delivered today that lays under the steps inside the pool, just to keep the vinyl safe. The steps do give a little when you stand on them and the railings do wiggle a bit when you are pulling yourself out of the pool. But overall, this is what I needed to help keep my elderly parents safe when using the pool. The ledge is nice too for my little and nephews to sit on. I really love them! WAY BETTER THAN THE LADDER THE POOLS COME WITH!!!

Not worth the price
These steps do not feel sturdy at all. You can feel the plastic giving under you, the side rails do not work well if you hv small hands. These pictures were taken before he put the gate on because I wanted to try them. Definitely would not recommend unless you are a smaller person. Weight limit is 300. I am 200 and husband 220. These feel like a Little Tikes Play Set. Way over priced for the quality. Lots of trimming had to be done also. Not a job for a lady either. You have to “bend” the steps.

Missing parts. Not useable.
7 days after ordering: The $496.00 ladder arrived... without any metal hardware.I contacted the seller; they answered 5 days later. The wanted to pick up the first ladder and then send me another ladder. They said they did not have hardware to send me.I did not want to wait for that to happen considering their history so far. I really wanted to just use my pool.I purchased the missing metal hardware (nuts, bolts, latches, etc.) and assembled the ladder. I asked for reimbursement for the hardware that I purchased but have not heard back from the seller, yet.NOW that it assembled would I buy it again?? No, probably not. When you spend $500 for a pool ladder you expect to receive all of the parts and a quality product. It doesn't not have "enhanced stability" as they claim. It is pretty wobbly for anyone over about 60 lbs to use.The directions for assembly were pretty vague making it difficult to assemble.Very disappointed.

Peace of mind
Highly recommend for peace of mind if you have young kids. It requires some coordination to open the gate and climb in the pool. This is great to keep young children out but tough for senior citizens to get in and out of the pool without help. However that’s kind of the point of this ladder…

Everything fits nice and tight! Perfect fit for my pool!
Everything fits nice and tight! When installed correctly on flat inside and outside ground of the same height, this is a very sturdy ladder. Perfect for my above ground!Highly recommend taking the time to put sand in the inside step frame sides. This is my second of these stairs (first set lasted decades) and I didn't put in sand but instead attached weights under step treads. That caused some green buildup over time if you know what I mean. The less foreign items there are in the pool the fewer places the green can grow - so use sand my Friends.
