David Wade Worcestershire Powder

I opened the bag and almost puked from the overwhelming clove smell. Then I proceeded to dip a pinky in and touch this glorious powder to my tongue. Blown away. Tastes almost identical to Worcestershire sauce. I sous vide a tri tip with this and a little soy sauce in the bag and omg. This stuff is legit. Buy it.

David Wade invented this delicious Worchester powder many years ago. I learned of this while watching his cooking Dallas based cooking show on PBS.This powder is sweet and has that all too familiar Worchester flavor. It doesn't have that hint of tartness that the liquid does. It's a great compliment to other spices when applied to steaks, hamburgers, pork chops and even fish.It's also a wonderful addition to tomato-based sauces like BBQ sauce, cocktail sauce, curry, etc., etc. Also. It's a great addition to a pot of red beans.This powder has a lot of uses and will a unique yet familiar flavor almost any dish.

This was great on our steaks and pork chops.

I used it in a Ribeye steak rub, kicked it up 10 notches!! I am excited to explore other dishes that can utilize this wonder spice.

This purchase was a gamble. I had read the reviews of the clove smell and flavor, and decided to try it anyway. the product does have a very strong odor of cloves, and that translates to a clove flavor as well. the clove flavor is not as overpowering as the smell, but it is still present enough that it is prominent in the food. So if you want to use this to impart a robust Worcestershire flavor, you're going to get a strong clove flavor with it. If just looking for a hint of flavor this might work out ok.Overall, while I don't think I will buy this particular brand again, it is not as horrible as some reviews make it out to be. I'm not disappointed with my purchase at all, seller shipped it quickly and the product is not bad, it's just not quite what I was hoping it would be. I will still use it, just not as I'd planned.

Very good to sprinkle on burgers or steaks before cooking. very good flavor.

This is the most awful stuff I have every smelled and tasted if you are trying to buy true Worcestershire sauce do not buy this it smells awful and taste like it has old bay seasoning in it
