Northern Brewer - Fresh Squished IPA Extract Beer Recipe Kit Makes 5 Gallons

It's my favorite IPA... Ever. Including IPAs that I bought at the store. I do have an issue about Quality control though. I am in the process of brewing my second batch, and it calls for 1oz of nugget hops. Strangely no nugget hops to be found in the box, but there is a 1oz bag of Cascade hops that I can't see anywhere in the recipe. I suspect maybe they changed the recipe due to a supply issue but one of their older boxes got the new recipe or vice versa. Either way, I like to be precise or at least have all mistakes be mine.

This was easy to brew and the beer turned out great. The directions are a bit difficult because they expect you to be more experienced. We were able to follow and create great beer.

I am a fan of Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA. This Northern Brewer Fresh Squished IPA kit is a clone. The brewing instructions were very clear, and this was easy to brew. The results were very tasty with the included hops giving the beer a nice citrus taste and aroma. I cannot say how close a clone this is to the Deschutes since I haven't had one of those in quite some time.

I have been making beer for about 5 years. This is one of the nicest IPAs I've ever made. Very well balanced. It doesn't smack you in the face. I plan on making a double batch for a upcoming event.

The ingredients were fresh and well packaged. The instructions are crystal clear, and there are great resources on the Norther Brewer website for further education.The final product was exactly as expected.

Really good flavors. Nice citrus tone.

This beer is soooooo gooood,wasy to brew

Great tasting brew. Mine ended sweet, citrusy, and around 6% ABV.
