I moved to Texas from the Pacific Northwest about 7 years ago. I've owned down comforters for over 30 years. Really good ones. And really good ones are expensive. My new dog decided to play rip the comforter apart a while back. Being a guy, I fixed it with duct tape. Still, I was annoyed with it not fitting my queen cover. And, frankly, it was a little warm here. So, I bought this comforter. Outstanding value. The loft is excellent and similar to my down comforter. And, it's just about as warm as the down comforter. I guess that's another reason they invented air conditioning. The bottom line is the fit was exactly as stated. I measured it. It's sewn very well and the quilting is one of the things I always demanded in down comforters. In short, for one whole heck of a lot less money, this has at least the same utility as way more expensive down comforters. Some people have complained about loft. My guess is that they've not owned comforters. All that loft in some of them is due to using a mix of fillers. Loft isn't what keeps you warm. Trapped air keeps you warm. I'm sure you can buy those big fluffy comforters somewhere, but what's the point? Also, for those who aren't crazy about the shell's appearance -- you know, it's ok to complain about that around here. We're all friends. But, don't ever let somebody who knows comforters hear you say that. Comforters go inside covers. It's way easier to clean covers than comforters. Helloooo! And, covers allow you to style your bedroom anyway you want, including all white if that's what you want. But... get a cover and we'll pretend like you never said you didn't like the looks of this one.

I have a king size sleep number. I have a husband that believes 75 *f is cold. After reading many reviews on this item I decided there was enough positive to go along and purchase.It has been a few months and I like to give a product enough time to bedazzle or disappoint. When it arrived it was well packaged and we tossed it in the dryer with a few fresh tennis balls we had on hand that the dog hasn't been given to fluff as much as possible. Smart idea to the poster that gave that trick. Fluffing up nicely we actually used  Nestl Bedding Duvet Cover, Protects and Covers your Comforter / Duvet Insert, 100% Super Soft Microfiber, California King Size, Color Chocolate Brown, 3 Piece Duvet Cover Set Includes 2 Pillow Shams  to keep it protected from all the dog fur my husky seems to get rid of on a daily basis. It's a very nice comforter for the price. Keeps my husband warm and is currently packed away for the summer in Florida. I purchased the Cali king for my king bed due to seeing reviews of its size. Even using the Cali King STILL seems very short. Hangs over nicely for the bottom of the bed but just reaches the edges side to side with a little give. Thankfully this was purchased to keep mu husband warm during the colder months and not myself or I would have to give this product a lower review. We have washed this item a few times at the dry cleaners and it has held up well so if needed I wold purchase again but I might look for a new item due to the size if I ever need to keep warm myself.

I shopped forever for a duvet that would actually fit a cal king bed. I think I got the various reviews confused in my head as this arrived and I was super sad it was so thin. I stuffed it in the dryer on low heat to fluff - not fluffing happened. Decided to try it out since the overall size was great. My dog decided she didn’t like it, and less on it within hours of making the bed. I washed it (twice in my front loading washer to make sure it was clean) dried on medium hoping for the best and let it hang to dry for the day. Same pupper decided to take the duvet for a walk, so we Re-washed and AGAIN dried and hung out to dry (she clearly hates this duvet). Once dried I remade up the bed and we settled in to sleep. Ok, it may not look as fluffy as I hoped, but this think is great. Nice weight to it and perfect warmth level for our southern CA winter evenings. Not sure how it would do in a colder climate but for us, it’s perfect.Sizing is great other than finding a duvet cover that fits it. I have two squares of duvet for each side of the bed and the foot to hang down which covers out extra thick mattress.I marked down starts because it did arrive a bit dirty I think from the packaging processs and that it is thinner/flatter than advertised. Marked stars up for durability in wash and drying and all around tuffness to puppers.

My original comforter was opened and dirty, I contacted the company and they were able to replace it and get it the replacement at no costs and 2 days before Christmas. Very soft

I searched and read all the reviews for 1 week trying to look for the best comforter looking for that “fancy hotel”vibes. This one checked all my needs especially since I live in South TX it’s pretty hot in the summer and winters aren’t as cold, so as soon as this came in I washed it (it washed very well, low in dryer) and my husband approved! It’s warm but not hot, we leave the AC at 68 sometimes 70 @ night. And it’s perfect!! Best buy in a long time! Give it a shot.

Ordered this after reading a ton of articles and reviews. When it arrived I was surprised how thin it was and immediately considered returning it. It also had some loose threads that I didn't love right out of the packaging. Luckily, I needed a blanket so I used it that night and quickly realized that the weight/thickness was irrelevant. It's a great comforter and despite the loose threads, has lasted almost a year so far! I have it inside a duvet cover so it's not manhandled at all - I imagine it might look different by now if it wasn't protected inside the cover.

Looks great, oversized, washes & dries good. And price is great. Only thing I wish wasn’t a somewhat slick feel but I’m still very happy with it and would buy again! When I have bought 100% cotton, they always shrink. This hasn’t!

Love it! I find it very comfy and warm it’s been as cold as -43 Celsius in the past week and I was warm with that and a sheet on my bed and we only leave the heat turned to 21 degrees Celsius in our room. My husband wishes there was a bit more weight to It though So we will probably purchase a weighted blanket

It’s warm but light weight. Our bedroom tends to get overly warm so comforter needs to breathe. If it stands up to laundry/ dry cleaning, we will definitely order another one. It even has loops at the corners so it can be tied in place if you use a duvet cover. 😀😀😀

It is warm probably not good for summer

I was expecting it to be heavier based on other reviews and discription. It is a very lightweight comforter, almost too light. It does keep you warm but on really cold Canadian Nights it leaves you cold.Also the picture is very deceiving, it just fits a standard king size bed. Not very much overhang, that was also very disappointing. I guess they put a king size comforter on a Queen in the photos.
