Fantastic travel wheelchair, with only one significant but livable flaw
Wow what a great travel wheelchair! Narrow enough to navigate nearly anywhere you'd want to go! (Except airplane aisles, which are less than 18".) We bought the one with the 12" PU back wheel, which was much better, yet still so portable / foldable. The included bag was nice, but certainly nothing I would actually use. Why carry the bag along? Here are the mods I made to the chair to make it useful for our daughter:First, the attached seat cushion is laughable! Maybe 1/2", 12mm, of padding. I can't imagine a situation where that would be enough, except for very short transfers? With that being evident from the product pictures I ordered four seat cushions to augment the product's insufficient padding. Our daughter tried all four and one stood out from the rest. (This cushion has a back cushion, as well, which we didn't need / use.)https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B75KV4XN?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1She had been coming home from school (eight hours) crying in pain in her normal wheelchair, so I was very intent on getting a cushion that would be comfortable for an entire day of travel / sightseeing. We tested the added cushion for three weeks at home and she never had any pain at all. And on the trip she was able to sit in the chair with the cushion for 12 plus hours without any significant pain! So thankful!(As expected, the cushion is too thick for the chair to fold fully. But the cushion is useful if she needs to sit in an airplane seat or otherwise, so we just use it for that, and the chair folds nicely.)Second modification was to put some hot water pipe insulation from our local home improvement warehouse (1/2" I think) on the metal bar that goes across the front of the seat. If you are petite, the back of your calves / knee pit will be against that bar and it will be uncomfortable. The black foam rubber from HD taped at the ends and middle with duct tape prevents that. And it has no impact on folding.Third modification was to find a beach towel and duct tape it on top of the foot plate. She sometimes has pain in her legs when they're just on a metal foot plate. It still folds up and doesn't interfere with the chair's neat, small folded footprint. And finally, the fourth mod was to put some duct tape (handyman's secret weapon) across the foot plate mounts about halfway up to prevent her feet / legs from going back underneath the chair. (You may not need this one.) No impact on folding.OK. With those mods the chair is about perfect for her to sit in. But in use, there was one significant issue that I don't know how to mitigate. The front wheels are small, and thus bumps, small potholes, small rises, some cobblestone, and etc. cause the chair to suddenly stop. (My daughter is spastic and leans forward, exacerbating this issue by putting more weight on the front wheels.) So you have to be constantly on the lookout for a significant bump, hole, ledge, rise, etc. The solution would be bigger front wheels, but I don't know how to do that. Thankfully, it has a foot pedal next to the right rear wheel for you to lean the chair back to go over the obstacles. But a bigger front wheel would definitely be better! Also, although the chair is truly easy and quick to fold, I think I remember the product description saying it could fit in an airplane overhead bin? It wouldn't fit there on either an Air France 777 or Delta A321. But the flight crews were kind enough to place the chair in their little closet at the front of the plane. (Again, thanks to the great foldability, it easily fit in there along with other passenger odd-sized stuff.)Overall with the mods I listed above, this chair is wonderful for us! It has become our indoor chair and the chair we use for any doctor visits or other local trips or beyond.

Good buy for something quick
Compact, lots of give with waist belt, wheels work and most surfaces, no brake, lift bar to help lift the chair on banks , will roll due to no break. Packaged well.

Can’t figure how to fold it
The chair is great to move my mom around. The problem I have is I cannot figure out how to fold it up.So it stays open I can’t figure it out. it would be very helpful if the product showed a small video of where the latch or how to fold it up.

Di's Review
This transport chair came in real handy for my mother. I am paralyzed, so I needed something light weight that I could lift in and out of the car. I love it!

DON’T DO IT
If I could give negative stars I would. This chair is horrible, do not buy it!!The only good thing about this chair is that it’s lightweight. The front wheels are too small and hang up on the smallest thing, dumped my husband out of the chair once. The wheels are hard plastic and because of that, the brakes don’t work and the chair will move when they are engaged. The cushion is extremely thin and this makes it uncomfortable. Once the wheel chair is collapsed, there is no way to look it so the extended handle is no good because if you try to pull the chair it opens up. Don’t waste your money on this thing, it’s not worth it

Looks nice
Looks good, but does that feel safe. I am 100 pounds and I feel like I’m going to fall out of it at times. I can feel the bar in it.

Great Travel Wheelchair
This travel wheelchair is awesome. We used it for our 12yr.old daughter when we went on a cruise. It is made very well, really good quality. Folds up nice and extension handle made it easy to transport. Tires are nice and thick. Front tires swivel good and brakes work good. I highly recommend getting this wheelchair. It is not a wheelchair that a person can use alone. It is for someone to push you in.
