Really Useful Plastic Storage Box 35 Litre Xl - Color: Clear

I am preparing to move house and have just completed the last of several major culls of old vinyls which date from the early 1960's to late 70's, so there are a lot of classic or now hard-to-find specialist recordings amongst them. I therefore wanted something secure to keep them in when they're moved and maybe even kept in for quite a while afterwards as I get everything sorted and organised. I now have two of these superb boxes --- well, I actually have about 10, but just two of this 35 Litre size and shape for LPs. For the storage of 12"s they are unbeatable. Over the last few years I've culled my collection down from over 1500 to somewhere just shy of 200. In these boxes they're fully supported and because I haven't crammed them in, there's room to riffle through them to choose the ones I want to play.If you have LP's that you treasure and want to store securely I heartily recommend these boxes. I bought mine from Ryman Stationery and Office Supplies and their delivery service was phenomenal. (Ordered on the 5th and they arrived on the 6th - and that was without Prime). I heartily recommend them as well.

I used this size to store vinyl albums Ideal for the job. I've also bought other sizes for CD's and DVD's. Again, ideally suited for the task. Started buying from Amazon until I realised that I could pay half the price for exactly the same product from Todmorden and Hebden Bridge open markets.

Let me point out that this is a big box. I mean, for vinyls. It's able to hold 100, the claim of "95" is not a joke.Realistically if you want to be able to "flick through" them you have to remove about 20, so that's storage of 100, but in use, about 80.The main point is, 80 vinyls weigh a lot. Probably about 25kg. If you're not so strong, or not a fan of weightlifting you may opt for the similar but smaller 19xl, which can hold vinyls but is smaller and lighter, although less economical pound for pound.Both boxed, the 19 and 35xl have the same width, its the length that differs.I have no doubt that this box is strong enough to hold the vinyls. I wouldnt want to stack more than 2 high for the sake of the bottom box as much as the floor, you're putting some serious weight here.

A really useful addition to some of the best storage boxes I've found. Remember LP's? Well this is what you need to store and transport them. The 35Litre boxes are maybe the most useful size weight to capacity ratio? The extra height of these boxes makes the size even more versatile. There's cheaper ...but few that are better?

It's a really useful box, which is a relief given the name of the product. I have around 170 12" Vinyl LPs in two of these things and now I can pick them up. They all used to be in one big banana box from the supermarket. It was killing me trying to pick the thing up and it wasn't doing the records much good either. 85 records in one box is still quite heavy but it is within the realm of liftability by mere mortals like myself. Also I was scared that they might get broken in transit - but they arrived in perfect condition. So that's a win really.

these are the only boxes I buy, Ive used other cheaper ones but they arent as strong, these stack beautifully and different sizes can be stacked neatly. The lids are more robust and the locking handles keep things a little more airtight.. I had mice in my garage and these thick plastic boxes kept them out! They are worth the extra money! I love the variety of sizes they come in! you can find something to suit your needs

I bought 8 of these boxes to hold my entire vinyl collection and they are doing a sterling job. I was able to get roughly 105 singles in each box, including the polythene sleeves. The boxes are sturdy and easily stackable and the lid is held down firmly. The only vinyl that didn't fit quite right was an album that came in a slightly oversized box, so that unfortunately has to sit sideways in the least populated box. Pair this box with some 400g polythene vinyl sleeves and you are sorted for mid to long term vinyl storage.

I have now made several purchases of the boxes - nuff said.
