Fantastic budget speakers
Sounds great and has plenty of bass for a budget set of speakers. replaced a previous pair of pioneer speakers (assuming older model) from being in direct sunlight (UV damage) after 10 years.

Decent sound, good value
Not bad sounding. Used them to replace the stock speakers in our 2013 Prius. Much better than stock. Good highs and lows, although not as good as Jbl 762 6x9s that I had in my other Toyota. These Pioneer's are a shallow mount, so it's an easy fit with new spacer brackets...or just use the old brackets (minus the paper cone speaker and brackets). Frequency response is great, the other reason I bought these new ones. Seem well made, time will tell. Good value for the price.

Not good for any type of bass. They only work as sound speakers and provide no bass whatsoever.
