Disaster
Where do I start? This unit only provides the option to hardwire into your fuse panel. Okay, when I had some time to finally do so, I reluctantly wired the unit into my $100k car, carefully tucking wires under the headliner, trim etc. It comes with a mounting bracket that requires mounting tape but needs to be permanently affixed to the unit (screwed into place) before affixing to the windshield. So, what is the point of having a separate piece?Here comes the bad part - video needs to be remotely access via a spare sim card, which I had but the unit would not record in loops and only if I remotely accessed it via phone and told it to do so. The parking feature, which was one of the main reasons I purchased the unit, did not work. I waited for the car to turn off, tapped the unit, hoping to set off the recording feature and nothing. Even worse, I could never access the camera when the car was turned off (yes, I wired the unit properly). The wifi hotspot feature connected but did not work. It gets better. After one week, I can no longer access anything but the gps service. So, ultimately, I paid $200+ for an ugly gps unit that requires a sim card.They are accepting a return but as I print out the label I notice that I have to pay for the return shipping all the way back to China!! This is just terrible. So, purchasing this unit has cost me a ton of time, waiting for its arrival, installing it only to have it not work and now I have pay for the wonderful experience of all this by being charging a return shipping fee. Great. This has been the absolute worst purchase I have made on Amazon in a long time.
