Candy Raisins (5 ct) 8 oz bags 2.5 lbs

As a kid in growing up in Wisconsin, my mom used to get Candy Raisins for us and we always loved them. When we moved away, relatives would send them to us and when we visited home, we always stocked up. When the original stopped production, we were heart-broken that we would never get to eat these candies again. We even tried the knock-off that popped up after and it was nothing like the original. When I saw these advertised, I had my doubts, but I ordered anyway. I just received them and ripped a bag open...they taste just like I remember! My mom still talks about them, so I am going to surprise her with a late Christmas gift of Candy Raisins - I can't wait to share them with her! They taste like childhood and I couldn't be happier that Lake Country Candies revived these. I will be a customer for life.

I loved these growing up and was super excited to share these with my kids....boy was I wrong, they tasted like they'd been soaked in soap. All 5 of my kids plus myself instantly spit them out. I thought maybe the first bag was just bad luck...nope second one tasted like soap also. Very disappointed!

If you grew up in Wisconsin you know these unique and wonderful candies. Just opening the package and smelling them brought back my childhood. Product arrived beautifully packaged and fresh as can be. By getting 5 smaller bags, I can open one when I feel like a quick trip down memory lane and candies will be fresh and yummy. Package also arrived much more quickly than the Amazon prediction. Lake Country Candies will be getting more orders from me in the future to be sure!
