Works very well! Didn't cause the lights in my house to go out like I was worried it would... Also, if you're using 0.15mm pure nickel strips, just follow the manual for best results.I set the pulse to 2 and the current to a full 99 (max power, since this spot welder is designed to do no more than 0.15mm pure nickel). I set the weight of the welding pressure knob on top to 300 or 325.Also, use the foot pedal. Hold the strip flat against the cell, and push the arms all the way up before you tap the foot petal. Works so much better than trying to make it work without the foot petal. Also feels much safer to do it that way.Another note, make sure that if you're using used cells, that you use a dremel to smooth the surface and remove any previous spot weld bumps. You NEED a smooth surface on your cell if you want this spot welder to do its job correctly.

This unit kills the 15A breaker at 80% 2P setting doing no weld & one foot pedal. I think something wrong with this one! Tried to get a inrush current reading but was unsuccessful. Bummer! For fun I tried a 20A circuit out in the garage the highest current setting was 90% before tripping the breaker. The weld did not hold to a pull test!

This machine is a piece of #$%$^. It does not work, its a SCAM. Tries Amazon refund, no response.I NEED THE MONEY BACK

The welder is very simple to use and works very well. I have built several multi-cell batteries using it and they all work well.

I order this thinking on saiving bath the weldin is not as I expect es better to spand more end geth samtig better

Did 3 weak welds then a huge flash from inside of welder. Its now a doorstop.
