This product does not taste like halvah. Genuine halvah only needs two or three ingredients but this thing has eleven! There are "anti-foaming agents", preservatives and artificial flavoring. All you need is Sesame seeds and sugar. The consistency is odd and the nuts are almost flavorless. Get the Greek one with honey instead -- it's the best!
