Rite Lite Chanukah Mini Menorah Set with Candles - Aluminum Hanukkah Menorah 4.25"

This is a very sturdy little Menorah! I was surprise when I got it out of it's box as I was expecting something super light and flimsy but this has some weight to it and stands very well. My kitties have already jumped onto the table top where it was sitting with two candles waiting for Tuesday and it didn't even wobble!If you need something small due to dorm or like us a 600 sq foot apartment? This is it. The candles are the size of birthday candles and birthday candles traditionally can burn about 17 minutes. I've not done a test on these candles but will do so now and report back. I'm pleased that it comes with 44 candles but the fact that regular birthday candles will work makes replacement pretty easy.I will update this with a candle burn time. The candles are thin but don't seem too flimsy and I was able to get the Shamesh and the 1st nights candle in without any breaking or bending.Update- these candles burn approximately 9 minutes 53 seconds. If this is a concern for you you can replace them with regular birthday candles.Update 2015 - still love this. Held up without a problem!

Purchased this for my daughter away at college. It is small- the description says it is 6.5" tall, but that is actually how tall the packaging is. The actual menorah is about 4.5-5" tall and looks very nice. It is lightweight and obviously not intended to be a life long menorah. The candles are basically birthday cake candles so you wouldn't expect them to have a long lit time. Since the menorah isn't heavy, care IS required when full of candles to make sure it balances properly. Placing a piece of aluminum foil underneath it is a good idea and like any open flame, don't leave unattended. I think it is an excellent bargain for the price and perfectly adequate as a temporary measure.

I would never use this for an actual Chanukkah celebration at my house (it's too tiny and the candles it comes with are cheap birthday candles that wont last more than two minutes once lit). But I bought this as a decoration for my office and, for that purpose, it does it's job well. And it's surprisingly durable considering how cheap it is.The design is cute. So if you need a decoration for a holiday party (or something neat to put on your desk at work), this menorah is a great deal. I only gave it three stars because it doesn't work for a legit Channukah celebration.

it was just a bunch of junkthe candels! ughhhh didnt even last a minute becuase once you light them they burn all the wax down the candelthe candel lasted approximetly 37 secondsdont waste your money

We have very small children at home and were really scared to do Hanukkah last year as we didn't want the fire in the house with them. We originally wanted to go with a lightbulb menorah but they're really expensive and it just doesn't feel like tradition. We saw this and decided to go with it and very glad we did. We got to have the experience of lighting the menorah but it goes through the candles within minutes so we didn't have to worry about it sitting on the counter unattended. We actually ended up taking it to Vegas as we went on vacation for 3 days during the holiday and it was so easy and small to pack up and take with us. I would definitely recommend this to parents with small children who want to be able to still light candles and need them to extinguish quickly or someone who is planning on travelling with it. I think it could also be great for a private yeshiva dorm or even a college dorm room.

Cute! I bought one for myself as a sort of emergency menorah! :) And I also bought one for a friend, just as a little fun gift, not to be used as a regular menorah of course. It is small and the candles are birthday cake candles. So it is really just for fun. The quality is actually better than what I was expecting.

Traditional (one of many) shape, small & cute. Daughters had these & want for grandgirls. I've collected several from various sources, all, I think, a bit overpriced bc hard to find. This was on expensive end.That said, it's the traditional Hannukah gift, along with dreidels, for kids & grands, so will probably always be sought after.

the candles are much too small to meet religious requirement of the length of time they are supposed to remain lit. Thwe product is for decoration purposes only but not for religious purposes
