Excellent size travel carry on backpack
I have been looking my best travel for many years and have somewhat becoming those that has 100 pairs of sneakers except I have a a wall full of backpacks. I have large 65 and 40 liter hiking rucksacks from Mountain Warehouse to smaller 40 liter bags from Amazon KAKA. For some reason the rucksacks are too long and tall to do backpacking travel. The KAKA bags are extremely handsome but their bags doesn't have a big enough main compartment to fill my needs. I typically travel 2 weeks at a time backpacking from place to place, planes to trains, bus to motorbikes, and sometimes hiking. All the bags that I have just doesn't have enough utilities. Then comes this 40L pack from Boulder Pack Co. It came in a small box rolled up and shrink wrapped. Immediately I realized I can pack this in a suitcase and check it in until i arrive to my destination and ditch my suitcase in a locker before i start my local trek. The straps are hidden away to give a clean look in the back in case i need to check in the bag. There are 6 compression straps that can be loosen to open up the pack to maximum capacity. The capacity in the main compartment is enough to use my packing cubes for summer travel for 7 days... 2 pairs of pants, 3 pairs of shorts, 7 tshirts, one dress shirt, one polo shirt, a pair flip flops, pair of sneakers, and pair of semi casual shoes. In addition 7 days on boxer, tanktops and socks. There is an organizing packet for small tablets and iPads. One slim long pocket in the front can slip in a toiletry case or my gopro case. One of the big selling point for me is the Molle web system in the front top and bottom pockets as well as the sides provides endless possibilities of extension. The quality is good but not too of the line premium. But can't complain for under 30 dollars shipped to my house. Zippers might be the weak point here but so far so good. Will rub some candle wax on the zippers to make it smoother. It is a great looking pack. I am not a fan of round shapes and corners and like the tactical look and every part if the pack is functional.Cons: in no particular order1. Only comes in black (although I would've chose the black color anyways)2. Could have used more heavy duty zippers.3. No dedicated space for a big laptop... can probably fit a 13 in mac book.4. No should strap for one-shoulder carrying.5. No built in way to strap the bag to a luggage handle6. Built in water bottle pocket (but with the molle expansion, can easily attach a bottle pouch).Overall this is my favorite bag. Functional, handsome, flexible and low low price for 28.00 shipped. I think this pack will hold me over for a couple of trips. Even if it doesn't last, the price is cheap enough to replace. I'm thinking if getting another one just to put some survival items in my car for emergency or apocalypse. Highly recommend.

Solid, roomy pack for a fair price
Solid pack. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a budget tactical type pack in a black color.Pros: Great quality for the price. Plenty of useful pockets internal and externally. The pack is sturdy and handled 85lbs of gear for a short hike. The shoulder straps are comfortable and the waist and sternum straps add extra stability. The largest main compartment has a lot of room and is expandable with a panel that unzips the circumference of the pack, this feature was really unique and handy.Cons: It would be nice if the pack came with color choices like greens, browns, and camo. The zippers are not high quality or oversized making them prone to snagging. I suspect they may fail overtime. The materials are durable but not top of the line, making the pack itself durable but more heavy when empty. These drawbacks do not detract from the fact that this is a great value for the money.

Durable backpack (but a tad heavy)
The backpack is super durable and has lots of accessories/pockets. Love that can hide main straps (travel or use as handle/duffle bag) and that it has great back support; it has adjustable hip straps - they even provide an extra strap to extend the hip strap if needed. The bag came rolled and clipped with that extra trap (picture attached). I also added pictures of the different sides and how the zippers go all the way around so can really open it if want to.It can be a great commute or outdoor bag, especially for bike commuters. Some people may not care, my only issue is that is a tad heavy for my liking. I tend to use a bag every day and prefer to not add extra weight (even with proper weight dispersion), I know that that also means less durable (give and take!). This could easily be a bag I take hiking or skiing too. Ended up keeping it even if may not use it every day at the end

Amazing value amazing backpack
This is by far my favorite fishing backpack. Much more than an actual fishing backpack at double or triple the price actually. It's super spacious and it seems really well built. I love how it has tons of little pockets and tons of places on the outside for me to tie carabiners too and hang stuff so I don't have to carry things in my hand. For example, I have a portable chair tied to the outside with a carabiner and it doesn't bother me or swim like crazy and that way I don't have to carry it. I can also tie my pokes to one side of it and not have to worry about that either. I will most definitely order another once it is no longer good. Although with the way its put together at the seams and all, I doubt I'll need another one for years to come.

Well made, hefty bag.
I love the size and quality of this bag. The stitching is strong and the materials are very high quality. There was a lot of thought put into the design of this bag, however my main problem is the lack of pockets in the main section of the bag. Overall, I would definitely buy again.

Excellent backpack
Tactical backpackThe tactical backpack from Boulder Packing Co is now one of my favorite backpacks. It is surprisingly spacious, with lots of nooks and crannies to take advantage of. I have hauled multiple reams of paper in binders along with my laptop with ease, due to the comfortable straps. In fact, I had to double check multiple times if anything had fallen out of my backpack because it seemed rather light. Of course, nothing had fallen out, thanks to the heavy duty dual headed zipper that runs 260 degrees around the entire backpack, for easy loading. I have utilized many different backpacks in my career, and others have fallen short in quality and features that this one provides. I can see myself using this backpack for many years to come. Consider me a fan.

MEH. It's ok.
Pros: Expandable and it's HUGE!Cons; Don't load it up with a lot of weight. The impressive seatbelt material dose not go from the top of the strap to the top of the back pack. So if you overload it, the strap will rip from the top of the pack.
