Great kayak for the price. My wife and I love ours. Added Navilights and Raymarine Drangonfly imager and a few other extras and off we went. Sets well in the water with all our gear and us..about 340lb combined. Caught 10 keeper catfish and even got out of the vessel twice and re-entered while in shallow water and no problems with capsizing. No one else has mentioned it but mine came with pre-installed threaded bolt holes in the transom for a motor mount or other accessories so big plus. I spent weeks comparison shopping and as far as tandem kayak's with the listed accessories go, this one was the best bang for the buck. Now after receiving it and giving it the real life angler test I believe we made a good decision. Hey we caught fish and didn't turn over....that's a great day of kayaking my friends!!

This is my first kayak. I like the fact that it came with two paddles and two seats. Rod holders are okay. I'm a bay fisher and have hit Port Mansfield and bay side at SPI, Texas.This kayak takes on too much water even in light to no chop. I kayak solo so I sit in the back seat. On both occasions the kayak has filled with water in back seat and storage compartment.I'm 5'10 , 210 lbs and the only thing I take with me is my camelback 64oz, two rods, a Super Stick, life jacket and required safety, air horn, Innovative bow light, YakAttack VisiPole II.Port Mansfield was windy and moderate chop, didn't get as much water as I got when I went out on calm early morning (6:45AM) fishing trip.Kayak almost bit bottom, glad I was in 4' - 5' of water in the bay.

Kayak delivery was a complete nightmare! Salmon season is a month long in Monterey bay and kayak came 2 weeks late and I completely missed the season. Finally took it out and it started to take on massive amounts of water into the hull where it should never go!!!. The light chop from wind easily came over sides of kayak filling the entire thing with water. Once back is full of water the weight lowers you so the storage compartment is completely under water. The dry compartment is covered with water at this point and it goes straight into the hull ruining any gear and sinking you further down!!!! You are putting your life at risk in this kayak!!! Besides it sinking the screw holes for motor mount bend the stern and seems like it will break a hole in back of kayak. The kayak was not even close to being assembled correctly leaving pole holders to pop right out of their holes and every screw loose with some angled incorrectly. Pay the extra $200 for a kayak that you can actually use without fear of drowning the entire time!!! Waste of a lot of money!!!

Where do I start.... It showed up almost a month after the delivery date. I called and was told it would be in later that day. And it arrived a week after that.When it arrived, looked good, had to wait until my next break to take it out because of the lateness of it. I took it out yesterday and it immediately took on water into the belly, we could not paddle within 1 hr of leaving the shore. I had to wave down a passing boater to rescue us. Lost fishing poles and have a bruised pride. Horrible experience from the start.

Ordered this as it seemed just what I wanted. And it is! Seems like great quality and a few pounds lighter than similar brands. First time out was in a fast current and it tracked great with me in the stern seat. Very stable, easy to paddle and fished and paddled all day. FYI, I did not use the paddles it came with (2 of them) but my own from a few years ago. I also replaced the seat with a higher back but the two seats it comes with are ok and decent quality. All the hardware and fittings seem to be of good quality but ensure you tighten all screws (SS marine grade into brass fittings) before you travel and keep checking. I ended up putting a few drops of lock-tite into all the main screw fittings to be on the safe side.

Although large and bulky, it's still lighter than most double kayaks. Me and my daughter can get it in and out of the boat slip. I've taken my 2 girls out on this kayak on a small lake several times now. It's nice and stable - we can sit or stand and often do both in one trip. My older kids can go out together or with friends. It tracks well and is comfortable. We put the attachable fabric seats away to avoid the hassle and we're fine sitting in just the seat mold. We haven't fished on it yet but the rod holders are impressive and sturdy. My one complaint is that it doesn't have molded handles, only molded loops with handles attached to nylon rope. While it's strong enough, it doesn't give me anything to run a cable through to lock up the kayak. I'm not overly concerned about theft on a private community lake, but I wouldn't leave it on public lake or river boat slip without a way to lock it down. One other positive, I could schedule free delivery. How great is that?! The delivery guys were really nice and professional.

After doing months of research we purchased the 12.5 foot sit on top kayak and couldn't be happier! This kayak is used mostly for inland lake fishing in Michigan, we have multiple lakes 5-10 minutes from the house in every direction. Many of the lakes we want to access do not allow motorized boats, have minimal fishing pressure, and this kayak allows us to access them easily. I have used this boat with two adults and gear totaling close to 400lbs with no issues, as well as with my 5 year old son. No issues paddling this boat solo when fishing with my son, it tracks great and is easily turned. Isaac in customer service is outstanding and replied to my questions immediately, and shipped out the part that I needed very fast. This is an excellent Kayak and the supplier stands by their product, I have recommended the same kayak to friends. Thanks for the great Kayak keep up the good work.

This kayak is great! Nice a stable and easy to maneuver in lakes and rivers. Highly recommend this brand and company. Delivery was as advertised. In terms of size, weight, etc...I load this kayak on my vehicle by myself, with the proper kayak rack attachments. When used with a kayak dolly, it is very easy to maneuver on land as well.
