White bird of paradise and peace lily live plants from Costa arrived quickly and in excellent condition! Very pretty and healthy plants! They were a housewarming gift and were very much appreciated! They came very well packaged with no damage at all. Great job on shipping live plants! Also arrived in decorative containers, very nice.

I was a bit leery about ordering a live plant through amazon... I felt like so much could go wrong! But, Costa Farms worked hard to prepare it for the rough travel.My plant came well wrapped in a saran-wrap type plastic. It was kind of a pain to get off, but they did a good job of thoroughly wrapping it up. It wasn't so tight as to damage the plant, but definitely firm enough to keep soil from spilling.The plant was larger than I expected; in other words, it was the size advertised. I'm all too familiar with products coming so much smaller than they look in the photos, but this beauty is about chest high on me, and I'm 5'9".The leaves are in good shape, and there's only a minimal amount of decay on the edges. In fact, a new shoot and brand new leaf recently grew and unfurled. It's so verdant... a beautiful vibrant green!The plant definitely needed a good long drink after being unwrapped, but I haven't needed to repot it yet. The one they send has worked well. It sits in the bathroom and drinks in the morning sunlight, and it's certainly a happy plant!I have noticed some sort of plastic dust or staining to the leaves. I don't know for sure what it is, but it's a white coating on the leaves that had already opened. I managed to get one cleaned off relatively easily, but the others seem to have held on to the odd residue. The new leaf shows none of that, so I'm hoping as time moves along the ones with the residue may fall off and get replaced with healthier ones.Overall, I was duly impressed by the quality. I got the plant on a deal-day sale, and I'm still shocked I got such a great, mature plant for less than a tank of gas.

Overall a beautiful plant. It arrived crushed and many leaves damaged but I trimmed the worst of it. Once it has more new growth I’ll trim more off, I’m hopeful that in a year it will be in better condition. I’ll probably stick to a closer nursery, I haven’t had good luck with Costa shipping to where I am in the opposite side of the country.

My plant arrived in excellent condition. It's tall and lush! It shipped overnight from Miami to Tarpon Springs, FL, so it didn't have a long trip. I always order from growers that are nearby for that reason.

I've wanted a bird of paradise for a few years now I was going to get one from IKEA but they looked horrible so I looked on Amazon. The reviews made me feel secure. It was delivered yesterday while I was at work it looks beautiful, healthy, with big green leaves. It was wrapped up tight and secure no dirt was spilt. I have a new baby unfurling. I'm happy with my purchase and it was worth the money!

The decorative pots are way too tight. They’re suctioned on, and they retain moisture. Not good for the health of plants.The plants come with a lot of commercial Pon and it’s everywhereeeee.The plants themselves are beautiful now that I’ve had them for 3 months and have given them proper care (note, they include the pot size in the size of the plant when they say you’re getting a 3 ft tall plant).I wouldn’t order form Costa again but I do love my Birds of Paradise. Go to a local nursery, where you can see the quality and check the leaves and roots.

Got my paradise yesterday and it's so healthy and absolutely beautiful!! Very pleased!!

I ordered three of the same plant. One box was banged up on two sides. All three plants were smaller/shorter than expected. Two plants looked good and had a new leaf ready to open soon. The leaves will need a good cleaning. Whatever they sprayed them with left water marks all over. The third plant looked somewhat poorly with split, discolored leaves and bruises, as if it hadn't been as well cared for as the other two. The boxes arrived around midday, when the arrival time was indicated as 10 PM. This is my first time ordering live plants online.
