I haven't had a better windshield mount for my radar detector. It stays put and little to no vibration. Once it is installed, it is a little difficult to remove but that is as it should be.

Fits my 2025 Lexus NX 350h windshield like a charm. Very good suction and no wiggle/jiggle or bouncing, it keeps my RD in place. It's quite large when compared to the stock cups but size made a difference.

9/10 stars!I was sick and tired of searching the floorboard for my Passport X70 every morning after the factory mount failed, plus the subsequent re-wiring of the mirror tap which ripped out from the force of the detector falling.So, I searched for all of 30-seconds and purchased this ChargerCity mount for both the price ($15,) and the unmistakable manual lever lock that I knew was the way to go if I want to keep my detector on the window.And YEP. My detector isn't going anywhere. This mount is STRONG, evidenced by the surprising amount of force needed to lock the lever. I'm certain that if a tornado were to rip out my windshield and chuck the glass three counties over, this mount would still be attached.MY ONE GRIPE, which is certainly a compromise for suction, is the size of it. It's pretty darn big. Bigger than I expected. I had to rethink my mount positioning entirely. It wouldn't fit cleanly under the visor without compromising visibility, nor directly under the rear-view for the same reason as the first, but it found a nice home under the left side of the rear-view.YMMV as I use this in my 2016 BMW 3-series which has a mirror housing so bulky it wouldn't fit a standard radar mirror mount, leading to my purchase of this beautiful product.If the mount was 0.5" - 0.75" smaller in diameter and attached the radar 0.25" closer to the cup, it would be a full 10-star product.

I have a Passport 9500ix radar detector that I've had for about 13 years. It originally came with a double suction cup mount with each little cup about the size of a quarter. It failed eventually and I got some replacement suction cups, which only lasted 4 years. So I looked around and between my GPS, my dashcam, and my iPhone mount, the two things they had in common was a large single suction cup with the lever, and that they all held.So I bought this new mount, poured a couple of drops of rubbing alcohol onto the cup, and squashed it onto my freshly cleaned windshield. You'd think it was welded. When I missed my first spot, I had to wrestle with the new mount to get it to release so I could try again. The second shot was a charm!I cannot comment on durability yet as I've only had it for a couple of days but I will say it seems to be sturdily made. I'm a happy camper at this point.
