Outset QS54 Flavor Roaster for Chicken and Potatoes, Stainless Steel

Arrived quickly and used that same day. I had never used 'stands' before and was very satisfied with the results.Before using something like this I had two concerns - were they stable enough to hold large chickens without falling over and would they cleanup easily afterwards. These have a broad enough base to stand without wavering and cleaned up with almost no effort at all. I did coat them with olive oil before putting them in the smoker to keep anything from sticking.

Have not used it [as yet]. Roasting whole chickens I prefer the Norpro poultry roaster. Much wider pan captures the grease dripping effectively, keeping it out of the fire..

Haven't tried it yet, but the metal does seem strong. It was a bit bent out shape at first. Wouldn't stand sturdy. But bent the legs a little and then pretty sturdy...But there is no way a can fits inside the "cage". We tried... if I pushed and bend the can a little it does.. but not a full can. Tall cans will definitely not fit either. It does come with a small metal container, I'll have to use that.
