Beef Tallow for Cooking 7 LB,

I have never cooked with beef tallow before, but I keep getting it recommended to me by family and others. I don't know why I waited so long, as this stuff is AMAZING!I cook a lot, so I decided to go for the large container to save on costs. The quality is amazing. It adds such a flavor to food you will never get with oil or butter. It's got such a nice, beefy smell and flavor. It's so smooth and melts easily. It feels nice on skin, too! But that's not my usage.This container will last FOREVER if stored in the fridge.This is my new favorite cooking fat, and I will definitely get more when it runs out, which will take a long time given the amount!

Great for cooking and baking. I remember when this stuff used to be sold in 3 gallon metal buckets for cheap.

This is one of the most useful things i have ever purchased, I’ve only had it for a few weeks and I’ve used it a ton. I recently got a smoker, so i used this tallow when wrapping it up and that helped retain all the moisture. For a first time, the brisket turned out amazing, and the tallow played a huge role in that. I used some tallow the day after to heat it up, that was probably the best meal me and my family had. 10/10 would recommend

Just made homemade fries with this beef tallow, they were delicious. We are so happy to have found this to be able to cook things at home. We are trying to avoid vegetable, canola, soybean and other inflammatory oils.

I’ll be using this for cooking every chance I get. This elevates taste and gives food just the right depth of flavor, and there’s no aftertaste like seed oils. The smell really isn’t strong at all, there is just a scent of ground beef once it heats up in the pan. Otherwise the smell is incredibly mild. I love this stuff- highly recommend to everyone!

update. beef tallow is great for seasoning cast Iron cookware, had 2 cast iron pots sitting outside for at least 5 years, sand blasted them, turned on my gas grill and put them on it and got the pots hot as I could, rubbed some beef tallow on them and let them cook, came out nice and seasoned like new, latest news says seed oils are bad for us, this beef tallow fries well and last without getting ransid, and you can use it for soap making too.

The smell is awful... I'm sad because I see other reviews had no problem with it. I do like the texture and the fact it seems like it's whipped, but that doesn't help with the smell unfortunately.
