THE NEWEST TOOTHBRUSH TECHNOLOGY FROM THE INVENTOR OF THE ULTRASONIC TOOTHBRUSH! Dentists and Dental Hygienists rely on ultrasound to clean teeth, fight gingivitis and treat periodontal disease. Now you can too, with the Smilex Dual Frequency Ultrasonic Toothbrush the newest, most advanced ultrasonic toothbrush available. Electric toothbrushes such as Oral B® and Sonicare® vibrate to “scrub” the teeth, which can be painful, and has no effect below the gum line where plaque-causing bacteria fester. Fortunately, the inventor of the first ultrasonic toothbrush, approved by the FDA in 1992, has redesigned and improved his original patented Sonex Ultrasonic Toothbrush and created the Smilex Dual Frequency Ultrasonic Toothbrush. Smilex combines 96 million deep penetrating ultrasonic waves per minute with 18,000 sonic pulses per minute to vibrate the brush head. These ultrasonic waves penetrate almost ½” below the gum line, disrupting the formation of plaque, where it does the most damage, causing bleeding, gingivitis, decay & tooth loss. Smilex doesn't require hard "scrubbing" like Sonicare® because the ultrasound dislodges the plaque above and below the gum line with gentle brushing. The fact is Smilex is the only ultrasonic toothbrush that doesn’t require special toothpaste and combines deep penetrating ultrasonic waves with high frequency bristle motion. The results speak for themselves. In its first use Smilex reduces plaque by 97% and in 30-days, reduces bleeding by 60% and Gingivitis by 28%. Smilex is available exclusively from Tools For Living®. It comes with two brush heads, a soft & a medium bristle brush so you can select the one that you prefer. Smilex also comes with a Limited 1-Year Warranty and an "Unlimited Forever Warranty."

Don't purchase this Toothbrush
I like the toothbrush and it works well. the draw back is the fact that I can not get replacement brushes for it. Amazon's order page for the brush head said "We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock" I tried contacting the Smilex Co. but I got no response from them. I advise you not to purchase this toothbrush for this reason.

unable to contact
Bought this a couple of years ago for my husband who doesn't like the intensive speeds of the Philips Sonicare. The brush works well but after a 4 or 5 months, the battery sounded like it was dying, although the item advertises that the battery will work for 2 weeks without a recharge. Not so. Tried to contact Smilex but there was no response. Online, it says it's unavailable. Don't buy as it's not backed up
