Shiningdress Women's Sexy Lace Mother Of The Bride Evening Dress With Jacket

This was a beautiful dress but the guy was way too large in the bust. I had to pin it up and that was uncomfortable.

Gorgeous, very well-made dress, elegant rather than "sexy." I ordered the custom fit in blue, for a special wedding. It's sheath dress made of heavy satin overlaid with lace, with a separate long-sleeved chiffon wrap. The dress color is a brilliant warm blue, slightly darker than the photograph. The back laces up with a satin ribbon (rather than a zipper). I am 5'-6' tall, in my early 50's, size 10, but decided to order custom to get a more perfect fit. The custom dress fits perfectly in the hips and bust and the length is perfect, just at the bottom of the knee. The torso is a little roomy, but when the back-lacing was tightened it fit nicely. The dress is fully lined with good quality fabric, and has boning sewn into the vertical seams and a built-in structured bra so I did not need to wear a separate bra. I did need my husband to lace the back for me -- it's definitely a dress for a wedding or special occasion when you will have spouse, family member or friend to help you, but that small extra effort is not a big deal to me and the back-lacing results in a better-fitting dress. The wrap is not as pretty as the dress, but the "dusty blue" matte surface (lighter in color than the photograph) makes a nice backdrop for the bright blue dress. I do not understand the reviews that say this is not good quality -- the quality of the materials, tailoring, lining and hems, are very good in the dress I received, better than in store-bought dresses in the $100 price range. The substantial satin is perfect for a fitted, structured dress intended for women over 35. The company also has excellent customer service -- very prompt, helpful, and courteous, when I switched my order from size 10 to custom. Delivery was prompt, in the middle of the predicted time range.

The dress is well made, but it didn’t fit well. We took measurements based off of the measurement guidelines. The dress was big in the bust, small in the hips and seat, and long in the waist. My wife debated returning it when she first received it. After looking into the cost of trying to alter it we decided to return it, but were informed by the seller we had exceeded the return time frame (I know that is our fault)I do question since it was so ill fitting if it was actually custom made?

The dress is beautiful but the sizing was weird on my body. It was tight in the hips until I lost weight. 5'6 and 160 pounds at time of ordering but now 140 pounds. It was always really, really big in the chest area. (I'm a 38C) I ordered a larger size 12 based on other feedback. I am taking it to be altered today and hoping I can wear it to my daughter's wedding after that.

The dress itself is okay; the "tie" they use to lace up the back is chincy, and I am not sure what you are supposed to with the excess. However, the jacket is another story; not very well made and a completely different shade of grey. It does not even look like it is supposed to go with that dress. Reviews said they ran small, so I ordered a size larger and two sizes larger than I normally wear, and both were too big. I am returning them.

This is a beautiful dress although I though I ordered a zip up but received a lace up dress. It is more beautiful then the picture and I can't wait until my Son's wedding August 6th to wear it. It is a tea length on me as I am 5'5" 108 pounds so I will get it hemmed so it is a little shorter. I ordered it June 24th but they did not ship it until July 3rd. I did not send in my measurements just ordered a size two and it will fit perfect. Fits more like an American 0 that I normally wear. If you buy this you will be thrilled with it.

Poor designed. It's too hard to put on. It's should have a zipper on the side so you can put it on by yourself without asking for help. If you tie the back of the dress first then you can't even put it on. It's too tight to pull it from your hip or pull down from shoulder. Also the color doesn't look like the picture and smells bad.

Not as expected. I ordered this for my wife to wear at our niece`s wedding. She said that the plastic inserted in the seams was not sewn correctly. The lightweight jacket was too big. She ended wearing something else to the wedding. She was very disappointed. Waste of money. She didn't wanted to return it. Read some of the reviews about the hassle other customers had. She wants to fix it. Personally, I think is a lot of work. Even though she sews, she will be taking it completely apart and sew it correctly. She won't be ordering from this seller ever again. She would have sewn here own, but she was busy with work, and helping with the wedding.
