SOSATCHEL PU Leather Rollup Pen Bag Pencil Case Storage Pouch Organizer, Brown

I should have read the product description better in the details portion. Unfortunately, I went off of the product's title description which lists this as "leather." It is not leather. It is PU leather, or pleather. I should have also guessed from the price that it was not leather. I'm grading it down because the item arrived with the tie strap hanging out of the seams by a couple of threads. I wanted to use this to put sketch pencils in, but given the look and feel of the cheap poly, I'll probably hand this to my daughters to use for their make-up...after I throw a couple of stitches in the tie strap to keep it from ripping off, that is.

Whenever I pack this up with pens I feel like I’m starting an adventure which may end with me finding “ the Lost City” or some leprechaun’s gold. Unfortunately I just end up at work but I really do like the craftsmanship. Well made, sturdy, adventure worthy.

Very classy way to carry wood carving tools, pens, knives, anything. I lay a magnifying glass in it and roll it up, and it hasn’t fallen out. Nothing in the flaps can fall out. The leather looks and feels great.The tie stays shut with it just passed under itself once, but twice is very secure.I sit at restaurants with my retired friends, and roll this out to work on one of my projects, like the cane in the photo. If you lay a few knives on a table, you look crazy, but if you roll open a leather pouch, and use one from it, you look like an artist (no claim to deserve it).I’ve been carrying this for about a year, with knives so sharp I polish the edge, and it has held up fine. I’ve gotten it damp many times, soaking wet once, and it looks new after a year of regular use.

I gave this to a male friend. The price was very good compared to others I looked at, and shipping was quick. The only problem was that there was no gift message and no indication who sent it, so when he first received it, he didn't know why he got it and sent it back -- eventually we talked, so I told him it was from me and sent it again. The second time was a success; he really liked this handy way to carry pens &/or pencils.

I guess I was expecting more from this product From the reviews I read. I was under the impression this product had a leather like feel to it, which it does not. It feels like $5 pencil holder made out of vinyl or plastic. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it does seem to holding up fairly well. When it first came in there were threads fraying off and I thought this would be an issue but so far it hasn’t. Overall I gave it four stars because it’s holding up so well. Would I buy it again? Probably not because of the material.

I absolutely love this piece. I bought a leather carrying bag in order to have something durable to do my job. When I saw this piece, I thought, I can protect my leather carrying case and know where my pens are at all time. I have avoided, my pens at the bottom of my case, broke and leaking on to everything. I love this piece. I put my pens in it, always put in the case last and I have pens when needed, no breaks, no ink to ruin everything else. I love it.!!!!!!!!

I love this roll up!! I’ve been looking for something to rollup a handful of sketching pens/markers/pencil for lite travel, this is the move!! It’s fake leather but feels good, The interior is this really soft material that is fantastic. The bonus is the real brass end cap on the cord wrap. This for a man/woman that wants a classy look is great. Perfect for a gift for your artist friends that you don’t know what to get them. Trust, all us artist love travel art gifts.

Needed a new one to replace my worn out one. I did not care about getting "real" leather and like the price. It has been very sturdy and I have 8 fountain pens stored in it. . . Great bag for the price!
