The media could not be loaded. I LOVE THIS SKIRT! My daughter wanted to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast for Halloween and unfortunately every costume has a big, beautiful dress that just hangs flat once it's put on. The costume ends up looking terrible - until you put a hoop skirt underneath. You have no idea how many hoop skirts I looked at before taking a chance and ordering this one - probably hundreds over different apps and websites. Seriously, there was an entire week where I did nothing but comb the internet for the perfect hoop skirt. Nothing seemed to have that 'princess poofyness' I was looking for. I even started looking at what it would take to just make one myself, but I can't sew and don't have a sewing machine, so I had to give up on that idea pretty immediately. I finally went with this one based entirely on pictures people posted in their reviews. This skirt was the right amount of poof and was easy for my daughter to move around in. I think the separate layers of material on top of each hoop gave it that extra 'princess poof'! The skirt has three flexible hoops, so she was able to sit down, as well. The skirt has an elastic waist band, three sets of double hook and eye claps to fit a variety of sizes, and a corded tie to go around the waist, as well. My daughter is 5-years old and on the petite side, so my mom added an additional set of hook and eye claps to take it in another three or so inches. The skirt lays flat and there's a way that it can be folded/collapsed on itself so it's super compact, but I have absolutely no idea how to do that. It comes shipped that way, though, so pay attention when you first open it up, because it would be so much easier to store in a drawer or something if you know how to do that! It is the perfect length, as well - while her Belle dress had to be hemmed and altered quite a bit (thank you to Grandma!) to keep it off the floor so she wasn't tripping with every step, this skirt was the PERFECT length and my mom actually used it as the blueprint for making length alterations to the Belle dress. Seeing my daughter's face when she put her costume on, complete with hoop skirt, was so worth it, she truly felt like a princess and couldn't stop twirling around! She wore it to her kindergarten Halloween party and trick-or-treating and never had a problem! It held its shape perfectly. She got SO MANY compliments and was beaming ear-to-ear the whole time! If your kid has any kind of princess dress, party dress, etc., you REALLY need a hoop skirt. It makes a night and day difference and totally transforms the entire look. Really, really get this! Perfect. Be prepared to steam for a while! Super wrinkled on arrival. Got for a 9yo and has a lot of growing room.

I realize that this is a pretty expensive slip. I ordered it after purchasing one that was less expensive which didn't work at all. In the first slip you could see the rings of the hoops through the dress and when the slip ended, the dress hung straight to the floor. Needless to say, that is not the look I was hoping to achieve. This slip is gorgeous and full and smooth. Perfect for under a floor length dress. This is the type of slip that makes the dresses look like they do in the pictures and advertisements. A perfect princess shaped dress. Not too big that it is unmanageable and not to skimpy that it can't handle the weight of the dress. I would definitely recommend this slip for under special occasion dresses if your goal is to look like a princess! Well worth the price.

I've never bought a crinoline before. I was expecting this one to feel cheap and not work out for what we need it for, but I'm pleasantly surprised!My daughter is 8 (in two weeks), but is the height of an average 10 or 12 year old. She'll be in size 12 slim pants in the next 6 months (she's very thin, about size 8 in the waist).This crinoline fits her perfectly. The crinoline is stretchy, and there are drawstrings to tighten the waist, but we didn't need it at all, because the velcro took care of holding it up completely. So now maybe I'm wondering if I should have sized up 1 size? I'm not sure, but the size we bought will work for what we bought it for.Ours came very wrinkled. I'm not sure how to get the wrinkles out. A clothing steamer would very likely work, but I don't have one. It works wrinkled, but I'm guessing it would look slightly nicer with it unwrinkled.I would buy again!

I am 4'11", 160 lb, and wear a size 12. The style 1 in the largest teen size fits perfectly around the smallest part of my waist and ends 3 in off the ground. I don't need to take it in and the waist is not tight!

Great quality very flexible and comfortable.

This is a nice hoop skirt but the waist is extremely large for the length. The drawstring waist doesn't do much to help that either. I had to quickly take in the skirt about 6 inches for it to not completely fall off my daughter for a pageant. Still had problems keeping it up, but she needed the larger size for the length.
