Bought this after doing extensive research on Super Automatic Espresso machines as a birthday gift for my wife.We are both coffee snobs, and dislike drip coffee machines and most have rubber tubing that eventually seems to impart a flavor into the brew. Because of this, we were using either a Chemex pour-over, or a manual espresso machine. Both consumed a lot of time, and with 3 children and tight schedules, we found it difficult to make the coffee at home and resorted to coffeeshops a few times a week.The ease of use, with its push button selections, allows us to easily start a coffee and walk away to attend to other things in the household as it brews.We purchase our beans from an amazing one-person local roaster, so being able to enjoy a well-brewed cup of our own beans has been a real treat.We've owned it for just over 3 months now and have ran into zero issues with it. It automatically alerts to low water and when to empty the spent coffee.One criticism I have is that it doesn't seem to know when it is about to run low on water, so I've created a few doppios in which it would run out of water halfway through the pull. Because of this, I've taken to pulling out the water and filling it in the morning, regardless of whether I get a notification or not.Overall, we are extremely satisfied with this machine, and the option to toss in ground beans for a single cup has made it easy to have a decaf espresso after dinner a few nights a week.For the price and the functionality, I've been recommending this to so many people in my life, and always offer a cup of coffee to home visitors.

Omg you guys! I bought this machine after months of researching and finally deciding on investing in a fully automatic espresso machine. I am someone who went to my local coffee shop here in Sacramento every day for good quality espresso for my beloved iced latte. Anyway, this machine gives espresso at the same quality I'm accustomed to. I love it and I haven't been back to a coffee shop since, there's no need! I highly recommend reading through all of the instructions and just taking time to set up your machine, use quality espresso beans, (I'm using Blue Bottle beans for now), and play with the settings to get the type of shot pour you want. If you learn how to use and care for this machine, you'll love it!!!

I love this machine. I got tired of dealing with the coffee machine from another manufacturer that I had used for a decade. Their machines were terrible & kept dying at 10 months as well as I kept getting inoperable machines due to falling manufacturing quality. After considering the money & effort wasted, I bought this machine. The cost will be a wash if this one lasts 2-3 years.This is easy to use & I actually like the coffee much better. It is built very well & feels well made & sturdy. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I do wish that it's water chamber was larger, but as long as it works who really cares. Also mine was missing the water-hardness test strip, so I just set it on the hardest water setting as our water really is hard. Additionally I use filtered water in the machine.

The media could not be loaded. DEFECTIVE ! NO QUALITY CONTROL! Magnifica Evo Next, Model ECAM31080. It's a $1,102.49 FAIL. Advertised as a fully automated programmable espresso machine. UPS delivered last night. I purchased for regular Lattes - the one it does not make. The LatteCrema carafe milk dispenser is defective, fails to froth or dispense any hot milk! Attempted to use cold whole milk, b/c it should froth better than my preferred 2% milk. As soon as the whole beans in it are gone I'll have to pay extra money for UPS to pick it up to return it to Amazon. It's too heavy for me to pick up & carry (~30 lbs). I have a disability - struggled to get it out of the box & on the counter, only to discover this morning it does not make a Latte nor any coffee requiring hot milk. It's advertised to perform 13 one-touch 'recipes' which are the following: Hot milk, Latte Macchiato, Cappuccino, Espresso, Coffee, Long, Hot water and selecting the 'more' button offers 2x Espresso, Americano, Doppio+, Cappuccino Mix, Cappuccino +, and Espresso Macchiato. Although I selected the highest 'Hot' temperature for water in the settings, I'd prefer to have my coffee hotter with hot milk. Since the 'Hot milk' did not work, I do not know if that would have helped raise or further cooled the temperature of the coffee drinks. The Evo claims it's 1250 watts. ☕☹️Anyone have a recommendation?

Everything is fine; however, the water tank is very small and have to refill it very frequently.
