Modern look, good value
I purchased two of these for a bathroom remodel. The color is a nice brushed steel and looks okay with my brushed nickel fixtures (Delta). The style is modern and the cost is significantly less than an arm and flange from Delta/Moen/Kohler. I can't say how long they hold up, but so far so good.

The Best!
I had to finally replace a 30 year old shower arm and flange. Upon opening the box, I was impressed with the care used in packing these two items. Each piece was wrapped in bubble wrap. The fit and finish of the arm and flange is second to none. It felt impressive in the weight of brass used. The chrome finish is deeply polished, flawless. The flange is not just a thin ordinary flange one like the one I replaced. It too has good weight of brass with a deep polished chrome finish. What I also was impressed with and I appreciated is the O ring mounted around the hole of the flange. It makes sliding it away from the wall to check for connection leaks and back to water tight the hole a breeze. There is no scratching of the arm’s finish. I am totally happy and satified with this purchase and recommend this product.

If you're thinking about ordering this, just order...it's so pretty and well made. It's not the typical plastic fantastic crap, this is sturdy and well made.

Great item
Nice packaging and the item was great. Easy install. The tape was also very good quality. Pay the extra 2 or 3 bucks vs others. You won't regret it

The escutcheon is not plastic!
At this price I was expecting a quite a bit less quality than I received. Looking at the big box stores, everything has a plastic or thin, stamped metal cover plate (escutcheon). This product appears to have a cast brass cover plate held on the arm with an o-ring. I say “appears” because it is completely plated and the underlying metal is not visible. Well done, American Standard.

Bonne qualité et bien fabriqué. Pas besoin mettre du silicone étant donné qu'il y a un anneau de caoutchouc dans le morceau circulaire qui va sur le mur. La boîte de carton au nom de la compagnie est une belle touche!

Solid metal, not plastic metal.
Nice solid shower piece. Much nicer than the one I bought from a local hardware store that looked like metal but was plastic. This one is MUCH nicer.
