Works beautifully, excellent
This is pretty much top-of-the-line for the Philips sonic toothbrush. I have been very pleased with it, and the way it cleans. Plus it has a long life. I’ve had it for 2-3 years and it still works perfectly. Can be a little expensive but you get what you pay for. The toothbrush replacementss are fairly expensive, but I think it’s well worth it if you want the best in sonic toothbrushes.

Same quality and function
I had one just like this for years. It stopped accepting a charge. So I bought another one. Same great quality and function. Still accepts my stash of head refills. Seems the price is higher.

Gentle enough for sensitive mouth and teeth
I have sensitive mouth and this product cleans teeth great on all settings without bothering my lips and other areas. I love sonicare and think they are the best you can get for good oral hygiene.

Really, no change from my $5.00 spin brush...
I really haven't noticed a difference in my teeth or gums with the Soniccare over my grocery store Crest Spin Brush, but I feel a whole lot more important whipping out this giant purple thing to stick in my mouth!

Too loud, feels cheap (updated)
I've had the same Sonicare toothbrush since 2011 and love it dearly. It's not keeping its charge for long, so I have been looking into replacing it with another Sonicare. I jumped on a recent Amazon sale and am highly disappointed with the lack of quality of the new toothbrush. Compared to the 2011 FlexCare, this DiamondClean vibrates at a high pitch. People in other parts of my house can hear me brushing my teeth with the new one. They remarked how loud it is. We turned the old and new on, and it's night and day. The only way to get the pitch lower on the DiamondClean is to really press down on the teeth, which is something I shouldn't be doing. I called customer service. They recommended putting the brush in its charger, pressing the button for 5 seconds to reset it, allow it to charge for 24 hours, and then see if that helps. Uh... why would that help? Something is wrong with the mechanics of the device. I'm gonna go ahead and give this a try, but I hold little hope. Buyer beware.**UPDATE** THANK YOU, INTERNET! It's the BRUSH HEAD! I put on one of the FlexCare brush heads, and the noise was dramatically improved. It's still not as quiet as my old FlexCare, but it's much better now. It sounds normal. I did a little work on the DiamondClean brush by popping out the silver ring on the bottom of the brush head. That allowed me to detach the brush from the base of the brush head (who knew there were so many parts to the brush head?). I reconnected everything, and now the original DiamondClean brush head is much quieter.I reached out to Philips before trying this brush head fix, and they did offer to replace the brush head even though it isn't under warranty. I just wonder if those new brush heads will have the same issue. Hope not! You can also use any click on Philips brush head with the DiamondClean model, so I'll likely be using my FlexCare brushes if the replacement DiamondClean brush head doesn't work out. Shouldn't have had to spend so much time on a new, expensive device!

Great toothbrush for the price
Works very well and is small enough to get into tight spots. It can get a bit loud, but only if you push too hard. The replacement heads are kind of expensive, but well worth it.
