Cannot fault this little radio. The sound is a lot better than I expected, with a tone button for a more bass sound.The cream goes lovely with any decor etc., The dial on the front is just like the old radios, but be careful, as, I can imagine, anyone who is a little heavy handed, it wouldn't last them too long with any continual turning. I found the USB cable very useful as you can plug it into the mains via the plug supplied, the only small problem is, the lead is a little short so it needs to be quite close to the socket for use. I use the FM facility as on AM it's just really crackly and the sound is not really clear. The FM sound is perfect and that's what you want, from any radio. Please be aware though, that this radio does not have a UK original 3 pin plug for mains use, so mains is only via the USB cable and the adapter 3 pin plug provided. I have tried my 5th Generation ipod through the AUX socket on the radio and the sound is as they say really good quality through the radios speakers. It's not a small radio so I wouldn't describe it as 'Compact Size' as it's approximately 24cms width by 15cms height (21cms high including the handle) Top buttons are FM AUX and AM. Is as I described it, smart, stylish and easy to use radio. Worth the money, in my opinion.

A present for my mum, she absolutely loved it. It looks very classy and the sound is brilliant. Only gripe would be is that the lead is short but that was soon sorted with an extension lead. So impressed will be buying one for myself, so yes would definitely recommend as worth every penny

I needed a new radio and liked the retro look of the radio.it didn’t disappoint but the reason I only gave it a 4 star rating was because the package hadn’t been wrapped at all ... just an address label stuck on it. Box looked dirty and shabby like it had been an unopened gift from years ago and the delivery guy could not have been more rude if he had tried!

Nice clean looking radio, sound quality is good, easy to use, portable, heavy does not slip around and tip up.
