has real weight and quality to it
was worried when box had a hole in it, but it was wrapped well inside. The replica sword is impressive and I feel like the price was perfect for the weight and balance of the item. My grandson spends a lot of time researching the civil war -specifically in our state, and he was floored when he received this. He wants it displayed in his bedroom above the table with other items he has collected. this has made a great connection between us, and conversation starters.

Nephew wants a sword
I am very pleased with this sword. Material quality exceeds my expectations. I was not happy with a similar sword that I purchased several years ago. So I paid a little more this time and it was well worth it. It's far nicer than the low end sword for just a few dollars more. It is for my per teen nephew, if he wants to collect swords as he grows up I'll increase the price point. However, anyone looking for a very nice display piece this is going to be hard to beat at this price point. I recommend it and actually plan to purchase another one.

Not Sharpened But A Great Gift
This was a gift for a co-worker. They liked it so I can't complain. These were not sharpened, so keep that in mind when ordering. Thank you.

Beautiful for the price, pretty well made
At about thirty bucks, this is probably the most affordable full-scale metal saber you can get, and surprisingly it doesn't disappoint. Packaging is cheap and it comes very greasy, but the build of the saber is honestly not bad and it's very beautiful and convincing looking until you look real close. The sheath is nice and it fits perfectly, and the grip is comfortable in the hand. The balance is rather forward heavy, and the blade actually comes a bit sharp (terribly dull by knife standards, but easily sharpenable, unlike square-edged replicas.)My main gripe is that the tang is pretty weak, and after a couple moderate whacks to a tree branch the blade was twisted relative to the handle, but could be twisted back into form with a moderate effort.Definitely not combat-ready, but it's a very pretty and acceptably made replica for a superb price.

Very solid material. Looks beautiful.
Is very solid steel, not flimsy. Looks beautiful and is close to authentic. Nice Metal scabbard. Worthy of wall mounting or giving as a gift.

My brother wants one now.
Got this for my dad for Christmas. It's very heavy and beautiful. My brother said "I didn't know I need a sword till now." My dad said well I've got one and don't plan on giving it to you.🤣

Better buy than I expected.
Good quality here. I was very surprised at how well it is made, but I don't plan on hacking on trees with it!

Not a sharpened blade
Really nice sword... only thing that surprised me is that it does not have any type of edge to the blade. Look intentionally dull.
