Purchased this flashlight kit for my best friend who travels the southern part of the USA conducting meeting for her company. Some of the areas have spotty cell signals. I convinced her that using your cell flashlight risks using up your precious battery. She promised to store it in her cargo compartment of her SUV. For the same safety reasons, I purchased another one for my daughter-in-law & 12 yr old granddaughter, who drive to the visit their other family. By the way the reason you're reading reviews is wanting to know how the flashlight works. It is super bright comes with a charger or you can use the batteries included, in the event you find it dead.

This rechargeable flashlight is decently bright compared to some of the others that I've owned. It uses a 5000 milliamp CR 26650 battery which holds its juice for a long time. It comes with a canvas belt attachment strap, but it may be a little too big to wear on your belt. This one is bigger than some of the others I have owned. What I like is, if you can't recharge the bigger battery, you can swap it out for an insert that holds three Triple A batteries in a pinch, and it ships with the Triple A batteries in the plastic case.It comes with a case that is modeled after the Pelican style with the four snaps to keep it tightly closed, but there's no actual rubber seal on the inside edge, so this is NOT a waterproof case, just really a decent padded case to keep it in. I also like that the charge port is USB-C, not the older Micro-USB that we are all trying to get away from. It ships with a USB-C to standard USB-A cable for compatibility with charging blocks and sources, but any USB-C cable will work.Overall, good emergency torch.

I thought my old flashlights were pretty good until I got this one. Now I need to replace them all.The low setting on this Blukar flashlight is brighter than my current ones only setting. This brightens a room even in the daylight. It's rechargeable, but can use batteries as backup, and they're included. You can cycle through all the settings one press at a time, or a 3 second press turns it off without cycling through and the flashlight will turn back on in that mode. The casing itself is super hardcore and can be used for self defense, if needed.If that weren't enough, you get the bonus of a hard carrying case. It holds your light, the backup batteries and cyllinder they fit in, the charging cord (regular USB-c), instruction booklet, and holder to carry the Blukar on your belt. Oh, and you get extra gaskets in case your current seal wears out. Make sure you keep your case closed though, or your cat might think they're toys.The only thing I'm not fond of is the location of the power button. It's on the side, and I've gotten quite accustomed to it being on the end and holding my torch a certain way. I guess I'll just have to make that small sacrifice to carry the sun everywhere I go.

The media could not be loaded. This is my workhorse flashlight. With the included belt clip holster, 5000mAh 3.7V 18.5Wh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, robust aluminum alloy housing, zoomable lens, and no-nonsense single button on/off/mode operation with last mode memory retention that just works, you'd be hard pressed to find a better flashlight kit that offers all the useful functions and features that this flashlight offers. Yeah, even with the vast Amazon offerings on flashlights, good luck finding anything comparable. Just my honest opinion and experience. I'm not compensated for this review.There's good balance between light output and power consumption. With the zoomable lens, you can control how you want to focus the light to better utilize it. This gives ultimate flexibility in how you want to use the light and for how long for virtually all situations - broad, focused, high or low intensity. Please see attached video to get an idea of what I mean.Because of my high use of this flashlight kit, the hard case storage box is now repurposed for other small flashlights that are better left in storage for when the time comes.The flashlight and kit use-case characteristics, features, functions are well worth the value.
