Nice graphics for an old game
It’s an hour a game here. Remind me of them old Chinese games back on PlayStation 2. I still love them super fun.

Casual Mode Review
Let me start by stating that I originally passed on this game due to the negative reviews describing a veritable slog through most missions. Also never been much of a trophy collector so, after they announced casual mode, I decided to give it a go and honestly, I'm glad I did. (Note - Casual does not necessarily mean easy mode, it just changes playstyle and makes it more of a third person shooter with some stealth elements and less a full stealth experience.)Controls are a little clunky but after a bit of play, you get used to them and it becomes easier to move around the environment. It does take some getting used to if your more used to playing first or third person shooters since your item use button is mapped to L1.Gameplay wise, the game is fairly forgiving on casual mode. Headshots will typically take an enemy down in one hit and ammo is fairly plentaful. On higher difficulties, it will really test your patience.Graphic wise, this is where the game faulters a little. It's by no means bad but can look like an early gen ps3 game at times.Story is honestly the best thing going for it. It can be pretty cliche at times but gets fairly interesting as you go.Overall though, casual mode definitely fixes quite a few issues that might make fans of this type of game steer clear. Not recommended at full price, but if you can get it for 10 to 20 bucks, it'll give you quite a bit of enjoyment. If you have experience with a third person shooter type game, you'll feel right at home.

Amazing game criminally underrated
I've been wanting to play left alive for a while now and have been following it on social media through it's development now left alive has finally released and it was definitely worth the wait the graphics Storyline and artwork are all great and so is the gameplay I'll state this right off the bat left alive is NOT call of duty you must use stealth and tactics to survive if you go in guns blazing you'll get slaughtered very quickly To win you must rely on stealth and plan out every move you makeI love the storyline and the characters And I love that you can make choices that influence the story you can also pilot mechs in this game The mech parts of the game are cool but most of the gameplay is on footas an avid front mission fan I love that left alive takes place in the front mission universe Even though it's not a new classic turn based front mission which I've been waiting for years left alive is an amazing game in it's own right I'm shocked about all the negative reviews left alive is getting because this is really a great game please don't listen to the bad reviews because their dead wrong left alive is a great game and definitely worth the purchase Left alive and resident evil 2 Remake are definitely going to be my favorite releases of the yearOverall left alive is a great game with great graphics storyline and gameplay If your sick of the standard going in guns blazing gaming standard I highly recommend left aliveHighly recommended

Do not buy before you try.
I jumped on the bandwagon for this game as fast as I could. First I would like to say I came from a blank slate into this series. I never played a Front Mission game. I was attracted to style, and team behind artwork. Clearly I'm a Metal Gear Solid fan. That being said. This game had all the workings of a full experience gone wrong. I started playing Standard difficulty, and right away begun to die constantly. The game is clunky and stiff. The control scheme is a bit off. I switched to Light difficulty, and this did not change my situation. For a game seeming to rely on stealth, the machanics just don't work well. Once you have the gaze of the guards, in many cases you will die. I found myself only getting to plot points by dodge rolls, and luck. The game relies on checkpoints, so wrong moves while traveling to and fro will likely send you time traveling a good 10 or 15 minutes of progress backwards. There are also save points, if you can get to them. I believe this game could be fixed with updates. So give it time. There really is ground work of a decent game here, but right now I'd test this game out before buying. Square Enix just might patch it up.

Similar to Metal Gear, very challenging.
I enjoy playing this game, but it can be pretty difficult at times. It feels like a military version of a survival horror, the story so far is an interesting war politics style narrative and the characters are well voiced. The odds are stacked against you, but it makes sense, in most situations your one squishy person against heavily armored future soldiers, but with proper preparation and cunning you can overcome the enemy. If you enjoy trying to outsmart enemies more powerful than you in an uphill battle, you may enjoy this game. you can always "get good" if yours interested.

Could have been better. Alot better
Playing this game I noticed lots of problems, like hit boxes and A.I being really dump. Like I had a mech enemy walking into a wall... once I cleared a area with enemies with the mechs and got out of the mech to go somewhere and enemies magically appeared, so I jumped back in the mech to kill them, and guess what? All the enemies disappeared, so I'm like wtf? So I jump outter the mech again, and sure enough, the enemies reappeared....if you have a friend that actually has the game borrow it, even borrow it from red box or something, this game made me want to stop getting platinum, not because it's hard because it's not but because it's bad. Also there's no hand to hand combat as far as I know, only played up to level 3? So get used to making traps, your only melee weapons breaking and no silent backstabbing kills, Running away alot. Or you can just play on easy and just run and gun. Which you can probably do better in any other game. B)
