Great putty knife!
Great putty knife! Quality tool made tricky puttying easy. Blade is strong with a little flex and polished so the putty slides off. Handle is classic wood and comfortable to hold. All in all, a pleasure to use.

NOT FLEXIBLE
I was looking for a replacement for an "old" Putty Knife. This is not it - the blade is rigid, not flexible as you would want in a "traditional" glazing knife. Been returned.The great majority of the current offerings for "Putty Knife" are made from STAINLESS steel, while the traditional ones were made from SPRING STEEL - hence able to finish the 1mm blade with a taper of 0.5mm or less - to give them flexibility. I suspect Stainless Steel would snap at 0.5mm and is only tapered very slightly to 0.7mm hence inflexible.
