Add it to your barkeepers friend liquid to remove those hard water stains.Must be diluted in hot water due to its low solubility in water. 1-2 teaspoons to 3 tablespoons of hot water, mix, slowly add to bkf. Do not inhale the solution fumes. Thicken bkf with bkf powder. Leave the bkf on whatever surface you’re working on for some time to remove the hard water stains. Still requires scrubbing of course.

I had just placed a newly made, freshly sanded countertop down. Fresh, clean wood. As Murphy’s law would have it a flashlight I took out of a cabinet had a leaking battery, and not noticing the battery acid leaking out I placed it for a minute on the countertop. The damage was immediate. The wood soaked it up and it was impossible to remove. So when I googled wood stains to hide the problem I ran into this product. I mixed it with warm water and just brushed it on the stain. Magic! It almost immediately made the stain disappear. After a few minutes it was completely invisible. A phenomenal product!
