Very sturdy and here's what's important to know ...
This medical ID bracelet is a bit larger than the one I currently use and about the same quality. The medical bracelet has been a lifesaver for me.What's important to know:A lobster type clasp is used to open and close this bracelet (see close up photo). The lobster clasp is large enough that I can put the bracelet on without any help. My current medical bracelet has a latch that is really hard to open, so I never take it off and needed help to attach it. This bracelet would be easy to take on and off.The bracelet has DIABETIC engraved in large letters on the inside so no one can see your medical condition unless the bracelet is flipped to the other side (see photo). You could still engrave your name and number in the space, if needed. My current medical bracelet has much more medical info on it because it came blank. The description says this is for small wrists, but there is a lot of room for adjustment and I measured the length - shown in photo. you can take a piece of string to wrap around your wrist, place the string on a ruler and determine if this medical bracelet might fit you. To me, it seems large enough for medium sized wrists too.My current bracelet is thinner than this one and also stainless steel and has lasted many years, so my guess is this one will last a long time too. There are no sharpe edges and links can be removed if the bracelet is too long. The bracelet looks heavy, but it is actually very light. I barely notice my bracelet on and think it will be the same with this one. There is a paper wallet card that comes with this bracelet you can use to provide needed medical info, if necessary.Hope the photos help you determine if this is the right medical bracelet for you. Here's to your health and safety!

Good backup medical bracelet option!
This medical ID bracelet is the perfect option for wearing in place of more expensive bracelets - I have a pretty expensive diabetic ID bracelet that I usually wear daily, but I wanted one that was cheaper to wear as an alternative when doing certain activities (ie: swimming, amusement parks, sports, etc) in an effort to protect my nicer bracelet, and this one does the trick pretty well! This bracelet is 10" around and the clasp attaches to any size - as you can see in my photos, it will adjust to fit most small to XXL size wrists. It is fairly lightweight - not as heavy as solid metal bracelets - but it's not "too" light to where it feels like plastic, so it's a fairly decent weight. The faceplate is a good size and the red medical logo is bright and visible, however the medical condition (ie: diabetic) is laser inscribed very lightly on the back (see photos) and the faceplate must be flipped over to see it - it is not dark or deep enough to visibly see it clearly from a distance. If you are looking for a cost effective bracelet alternative, this one is a great choice for adults - but I don't think it will fit children or teens securely given the large 10" chain size as there will be extra chain length hanging from the clasp that will likely be bothersome or distracting to them.

Sturdy and thick
This is sturdy and well made. The chain is a little chunky, but it feels like it will not break easily. It is ideal if you do need something sturdier for outdoor adventures and such. Definitely worth the cheap price at time of order.

GOOD ITEM TO HAVE, IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES!
I have wanted a diabetic medical ID bracelet for some time now, because I am a diabetic on an insulin pump and it's surprising how many people still do not know much about them. A few years back, I would tell medical people how the pump worked and found that they lacked knowledge about it. Now, things have improved a lot. That is just one of the many reasons that I have wanted to get this bracelet, so that if I had a low or high glucose moment, paramedics would see my bracelet and act accordingly. This bracelet is adjustable to fit each person's wrist, is also very nice quality (stainless steel), and has "Diabetic" stamped on the back. The manufacturer also provides a wallet card for you to be able to carry your medical history in your wallet, in case you would not be able to tell anyone helping you, what they should know. I am pleased with this and if you have diabetes, you should wear one of these for your safety.

Budget Friendly
I've had diabetes for years now and have always been meaning to get one of these bracelets, as I suffer from frequent hypoglycemia. This is a budget-friendly one, although I have replaced it with another that has the medical and contact information, hidden in the bracelet. This one does not, but it will certainly serve as a backup.

Nice, adjustable Medical ID Bracelet
I bought this for my mother who is very active, but diabetic. I have been very concerned lately that she could have a diabetic episode while out and about on her own. Having this bracelet on gives me some level of assurance that someone attending to her can adjust accordingly to her diabetic needs. I really like that it looks like a regular bracelet and is adjustable. She has very tiny wrists. The fact that it's SS vs silver is also a plus for me because for some reason my mom always tarnishes silver jewelry. Time will tell how it holds up.
