I literally bought 3 budget monitors with 1440p 144hz, all of them had horrible quality/was faulty etc. I decided to invest more money on this monitor and I am so happy... It is amazing for gaming, settings are nice and easy. The only problem with it is the humongous stand which can be a problem if you have a small desk. Definetly recommend.

First of all, the colours on this are generally good; bright and vibrant, and seem accurate (i cannot measure this, but they look good). There is a lot of LED silliness going on but that can all be turned off, after which it's tastefully understated (but it is a "gaming" monitor, so it's to be expected really).Where I was slightly underwhelmed were the blacks and base brightness; dark colours have some slight banding, and "black" isn't as dark as I'd expect. Even after calibrating it's a notch above actual black, though results of the "black level" test are pretty good.Oh, and the stand is enormous; it's a good foot between the back of the rear leg to the screen, and the front legs are very wide (almost as wide as the monitor) so I'd recommend using a good vesa mount unless you have acres of desk space.

Maybe my piece was faulty but the colours were horrible next to the IPS panel, honestly I've never seen colours that bad, I tried to adjust them to look more real, but nothing I could do, again, maybe my piece was bad but it was horrible.

Product arrived within a couple of days. And it is amazing as I was watching on the reviews. It took my gaming experience on the next level. The colours are amazing. You can feel the difference of the 144hz with the 60hz(previous monitor). It's so much smoother. I highly recommend it!

Its worth the money due to the fact that I can utilize nvidia gsync compatible. The monitor is smooth and my gpu makes sure I see every frame.

I’ve using this monitor for gaming in my ps4 for now and is amazing. Soon I’ll be have my pc gaming and honestly I can’t wait, is so good 100% recommended.

Review of the monitor ..I was looking for a 27 1440p Monitor for photo editing and gaming which had accurate colour and good blacks and quick response times , stunning build quality and this ticked all the boxes ..after a day or two with the monitor here’s my thoughts.1.Unpacking and inspectionUpon opening the box I was very impressed this monitor , it was stunning to look at with its curved super thin screen and bezel free design also the monitor packaging was excellent ..thankfully it included a hdmi cable , display port cable , usb cables . The monitor also has a display port , 2 hdmi ports side usb 3 ports , headphone jack but sadly no internal speakers but it doesn’t matter as my sound comes from a external speakers connected to my laptop and PS4 .2.Setup and testingWow it gets better ! I turned it on and the monitor suddenly displayed a row pulsing rgb lights at the bottom of the monitor also the large steel tripod stand was very stable and beautifully constructed ! I connected it to my gaming pc and PS4 and the picture was promising but needed some calibration .After calibration the monitor produced a stunning picture with excellent colours,pin sharp detail and very smooth response times along with superb contrast and brightness ,damn the brightness nearly blinded me lol ..I was very impressed !3.ConclusionIf your looking for a gaming monitor for PS4 , Xbox one , pc with excellent picture quality, excellent blacks , great colour, pin sharp detail , very smooth and fast response times , stunning looks and led lighting get this monitor as it exceeded my expectations and that’s coming from an asus rog strix owner ..Well done MSI 👌
