Yes they do squeak at first and take a while to break in, but they are great all-day wear and keep you dry! I think the look is a little dorky but my wife thinks they are cool, so she wins.

They are a little tighter than I expected for a "Relaxed Fit", but will see is they break in. Tongue hits hard into top of foot, was wearing medium thickness socks, might try thicker ones for break in period. Well-made shoe, looks amazing. For those that made comments about they squeak yep; they do but I expected that being they have a rubber sole. Will amend later if needed. Update: decided to return them just too tight of a fit. Might try a bigger size but may have to get a Wide. For saying "Relaxed Fit" I'd say anything but that.

Crushes top of foot (painful) with the size I normally wear, 11 med width though the length and sole comfort was great. Shoes shouldn't need "broken in", they should fit properly to begin with.I like the rest of the fit and the design. So, I'm returning them and trying a wide width even though I never need wide widths. We shall see.Intended use is outdoor gardening.

Wanted some easy on/off shoes to wear during the wet, soggy late fall/winter/spring in my neck of the woods. Something I could throw on when I need to quickly shovel, or to get me to the office and back without having damp feet.I really like the styling of these shoes. They're functional and fully waterproof, and look good enough I could wear them all day if need be (I typically wear them to the office on sloppy days but will switch to a pair of loafers at the office, then back to these for the trip home... but I certainly don't have to.)If you have somewhat wider feet, I do suggest going up a half or full size with these shoes. They are a bit more narrow than I would have liked. The slip-in feature feels very stiff and uncomfortable in the heel at first, but I wore them out a few days to run errands with thick socks and they broke in and loosen up nicely. They're perfectly comfy now.I did have some issues with getting a pair that fit and were the correct color- the size I normally wear in Sketchers shoes was not going to be big enough for me in this shoe, so my first pair was returned. My second pair I received were not the color I had purchased, so those went back. Third time was the charm- I got a pair a half size larger than my normal size and they arrived in the right color.I really like these shoes. Waterproof, very sure traction, easy on the eyes- although they are clearly shoes for inclimate weather.
