This wooden shape sorter house from Speedy Monkey comes in a sturdy cardboard box with rope handle. Inside the box the house is wrapped in tissue paper, and the sorting shapes are wrapped in tissue paper inside the house. The whole thing has a lovely, quality feel.This is a beautifully made wooden toy with no sharp edges, everything is rounded and feels nice to touch and hold. You have eight shapes but ten holes because the monkey shapes get four holes rather than two - which is a good opportunity to increase play.Age range on the box is given as 1-3 years, but it is perhaps best suited to the younger end of the age range. This does feel like a toy you would be able to pass onto younger siblings or relatives.Overall - beautifully made and would make a wonderful gift.

High quality and beautifully crafted, literally nothing about this toy disappoints me. Its made from firm solid wood (which smells great!), and it very tastefully decorated in a modern way. The box it arrives in makes it very giftable, and it even has a rope handle on the box which gives it an extra feel of being high quality.The toy seems safe - no rough edges and lots of care and attention in the build. The lid of the box slots on easily for storing the pieces, and the pieces are well sized for small hands. It recommends ages 1 to 3, and my 3 year olf loves it as a toy and also as a little storage box.
