If I could give zero stars, I would. The shapes are off. The ratio is off. The states don't fit together. The paper was peeling off the magnetic backing. Just an overall terrible product. Terrible look and functionality overall.

This 50-piece set of die cut US State magnets is pretty nice. It isn't a puzzle, so the pieces aren't proportionate, which is fine, because otherwise, Delaware and Rhode Island would be very, very hard to see, lol!The graphics have a postcard-like aesthetic to them. Each magnet features a landmark or State Flower or animal, and all-in-all, they've been pretty accurate about State features after a random sample. The magnets are colorful and cute, and it would make a good toy for a child who's learning the states, or as a decorative touch for an RV or camper. This set is half the price of an identical set here on Amazon, so provided you get all 50 states (I counted, they're all there) this set is a pretty good deal.The only complaint I have is that they're very weak magnets, more for decoration than for securing papers. It would take about 5 of them to hold a single 8 1/2 ×11 standard sheet of paper to a fridge. I also noticed it's pretty easy to accidentally brush them off the fridge, so maybe keep them up high/ out of high traffic areas? If you just consider them as decoration, you'll be a lot happier with the set. I seriously doubt the $40 set is any better (or even any different). Anyway, I like them, B+

I would have loved for these magnets to fit together like a puzzle of the United States. Each magnet has the general shape of the state it represents, but they are all roughly the same size. For example, the Rhode Island magnet is about the same size as those for California and Texas. They can sort of go on the fridge in a loose U.S. shape, but not an accurate representation of the country.All 50 states are included in this set. Each state has its name and an illustration that represents it. They are colorful and pretty to look at. The magnets arrived slightly curled and are not sticking on my fridge very well presently. I've got most of them under heavy books to flatten them out and they should stick better in a day or two. They aren't strong enough to hold a photo or piece of paper. They are for display only. The corners got a little bit roughed up on some of the states, but most of them are in good shape. I'll have fun with them on display in my kitchen.
