Updated review. . . Lightweight but strong - great trolley case!
7th Oct Update at end. . . After carrying my wheel-less very old well travelled and battered case all over the planet for the last 30 years I've decided to treat myself to a new suitcase (with wheels!) for an upcoming long haul trip in September!I'm a tight wad northerner and there's no getting away from it. If I buy something - it's well researched and needs to last. So after much perusal of luggage across the internet I've decided to edge my bets on this one. This case was £99 in John Lewis when I was looking! . . .I'm away for 16 days soon and I like to travel light. I like strong lightweight bags which is one of the reasons I chose this one. I've checked every inch of this case and found no faults at all. It's in perfect condition upon delivery. This is the large suitcase in navy blue. A few details. . .- Size 46.5 x 32 x 79.5 cm- 108 litre capacity- 3.80 kg when empty- It's a spinner/push-pull along with 4 single wheels on each corner- Telescopic handle- Two carry handles. One on top and one on the side- TSA three digit lock- Two front pouch pockets on the outside of the case- Inside there is one main large compartment with cross straps to hold the contents down. The inside lid has a full length mesh zipper pocketI've read all the reviews here and in my honest opinion - the build quality of this case appears very good indeed to me. I like it! The zippers are smooth and solid. Nicely finished edges - the wheels are solid and slick. Great carry handles. The TSA lock works perfectly well and when the zips are locked in position you can slip a small padlock through them aswell for added security! The manufacturing quality is spot on. It wheels along nicely (I loaded it up with 20kg of clothes/shoes and tested it) and I cannot complain here. The retractable handle works well and feels comfortable in use.Yup a definite good buy in my opinion and if I've got anything to add after my trip I'll update this review! Now roll on holidays. . .Update. . .So, I went to Cuba - with Thomas Cook! But that's another story - The case - performed brilliantly! No issues whatsoever. I used packing cubes to pack most of my stuff in and I also had my proper camera plus a big tripod in there. There's plenty of room in here for a 2 week trip!Aswell as the already fitted TSA locking mechanism for the zipper tabs I used a TSA padlock to double secure the case.Wheeling it to and from taxis - through airports - through hotels/grounds was a doddle! Very smooth and quiet! My partner did mention that her old two wheel case sounded like a rumble of thunder next to mine!Upon opening after a 9hr flight I found all my stuff as I left it. Also - no scuff marks 'at all' or any sign of damage to the wheels.Really happy with this one and can see it lasting for many trips abroad yet!Thank you for reading!

5 years of use still in good condition.
I was admiring how fresh, sturdy and in good condition the suitcase still is after purchasing it in 2018. Love that it has 4 wheels which makes I glide easily besides me rather than having to pull. It has a code lock so I don't need to use detached padlocks with keys. It fells well padded so items inside are secure and it takes about everything indeed whist remaining within weight limit, sometime!. The colour has to faded so it looks as good as though bought less than a year ago.

Very large suitcase
Ordered both the large and medium suitcase to compare the sizes. Regret we've had to return the large suitcase as it was just too big to handle. Unfortunately we then discovered that we have to pay postage to return the suitcase, which cost over £9, so take care buying two sizes to compare, as we did, without factoring in the return costs.Having said that, both suitcases look to be quite sturdy and all four wheels spin easily, so if you're fit and strong sure it'll be fine. We've kept the medium case and will have to be more frugal with my packing in future.

Smart, sturdy and great quality
Purchased two large cases for long haul holiday and they survived return journey without any sign of damage. Easy to manoeuvre, smart, stylish and sturdy, great quality luggage set. Will purchase smaller case to complete the set. Highly recommend!

Good Value
Great for holidays on the train or the aircraft. Has a locking system, is a reasonable size and is really great with four wheels. I have now purchased two. The large and the medium. Both are very good. Very glad I went for this brand.

Getting from A to wherever you want to go...!
I am not in the market for fancy travel luggage though I might consider it if I had won the lottery. But I did need a new suitcase and spent weeks assessing the options because, frankly, that is what I am like.I looked off line (my generation call these places “shops”) and online and chose the American Tourister because (a) it was within my budget and (b) it was available within the timeline that I needed it.I purchased the Holiday Heat Spinner medium case in black with a combination lock and 4 wheels. I know black is, well….black, but I planned to wrap ribbon around the handle to provide identification for when it’s carefully loaded onto the luggage belt by conscientious luggage handlers around the world.Size wise, I would say it’s good for a week of summer holidays with daytime wear and, perhaps (hopefully) more glamorous evening wear. The zips feel strong and sturdy and the combination lock provides the reassurance you need when most of your best summer clothes have been packed into one receptacle.I never felt the need to use the additional front pockets on the suitcase (two in all) but the zips seem strong and sturdy and the pockets are not immediately visible which is a good thing. The wheels don’t look particularly strong but they did their job and show no scarring for their effort.A suitcase for me is a necessary commodity and this one does a decent job.

Nice suitcase but wheels not the best
Its a good quality suitcase plenty of space pots of pocket s and locks works wellHowever after 1 use for holiday we noticed on our walks to the train station then wheels started to get a bit stiff they still worked ok but something wasn't quite right, when we then walked home on the walk back it got worse to the point the wheel screeched incredibly loudly, i would not expect this to happen after just one use
