Bought this Amazon Basics cat litter mat to replace a much more expensive one that had seen better days, and I'm genuinely impressed with how well this budget option performs.The size (61 x 88.9 cm) is generous enough to cover the area around my cat's litter tray with room to spare. The gray color blends nicely with most floor types and doesn't show dirt as easily as lighter colors might. The material has a slightly rubbery, textured feel that's effective at trapping litter particles as my cat exits the tray.What I appreciate most is how well it catches the tracked litter - you can easily tip the collected bits back into the tray or shake them out. The mat stays put when cats walk across it, which was an issue with my previous thinner mat. It's also soft enough on their paws that my cat doesn't avoid stepping on it.Cleaning is straightforward - a quick shake outside or a vacuum does the trick for regular maintenance. While it's not machine washable, it's easy enough to wipe down when needed.For the price point, this mat punches well above its weight. It may not have all the premium features of expensive alternatives, but it serves its core purpose brilliantly. These mats are perfect for my litter trays! I have 4 trays, and one mat comfortably covers the entrance to 2 trays because of it's size. So I only had to buy 2. They are catching any tracked litter really well, which can easily be tipped back into the tray. They're easy to clean and are very appropriate to live in shed, where the trays are, as they can cope with all climates. Really good price too. I'm very happy!

It's a really great size that's perfect for a litter tray on, it's design is made up of like a threaded net material that catches the litter in so you can pick it out. One issue would be it can be hard to clean because things get caught in the fibers.

Good quality cat mat, and weight that doesn't move when cats climbing in and out of litter tray. Size and material are good and catches those bits of litter off cats paws on exit from litter tray. Not very comfortable when kneeling to clean a tray

My cat is a very messy eater & drop's bits of food all around her bowl, this mat is brilliant as unlike vinyl flooring the bits of food doesn't stick on it and is easily cleaned up also have one next to the litter box.

This mat is decent and helps reduce the amount of litter tracked outside the box, but it's a bit too large—10cm shorter in both length and width would have been better. While it does catch litter effectively, cleaning it out of the mat isn’t as easy as expected, which undermines its convenience. It works, but it's not perfect.

This mat has been used on the floor under the cat litter tray and I'm very satisfied with it. I was surprised to see it isn't washable in a washing machine but it does it's job very well. More than anything else I think it's the material it's made of which is the big advantage. It's kind of floppy and almost rubbery to feel, but the mat edges stay to the floor, so no tripping up and it mostly catches the overspill from our cats vigorous digging. A dustpan and brush takes care of clearing up the overspill but any tiny bits of dust will readily come out if you shake and beat the mat. It's generous size was a pleasant surprise as our cat has a large litter tray. We have the mat in grey and it fades into the floor cover colouring nicely. All in all it was an excellent purchase and I'm very happy with it.
