Great Little Tablet for a Young Kid
I got this 8-inch Android tablet for my little cousin Freud, and honestly, it’s been a solid choice for an 8-year-old. He uses it mostly for watching videos, playing games, and doing some basic school stuff his teacher assigns online. At first, I wasn’t sure how well it would hold up—kids can be rough on electronics—but so far, it’s survived drops, spills (thankfully not directly on the screen), and even being left in his backpack overnight. The specs are nothing fancy, but for what he needs, they work just fine. It’s got 4GB RAM + 8GB extended memory and 64GB of storage, which sounds confusing at first, but basically means it handles apps and videos without too much lag. He’s able to stream cartoons and play Roblox with no freezing or crashing, which is all we really needed it to do.It runs on Android, so downloading kid-friendly apps is super easy, and the touchscreen feels responsive—even with sticky fingers. The screen isn’t ultra high-res, but it’s bright enough for indoor use and outdoors in the shade. Battery life is decent too—he can get about 4-5 hours of continuous video playback before needing a charge, which is totally normal for a small tablet like this.To be fair, it’s not built for heavy multitasking or advanced use—it’s definitely a budget device. But for a kid who just wants something fun and functional, it’s perfect. Plus, it came with a case and stylus, which surprised me for the price. If you’re looking for an affordable, kid-friendly tablet, this one checks all the boxes. Freud loves it and hasn’t stopped using it since day one!

Great little tablet for the price!
I got this tablet for reading, watching videos, and some light browsing—so far it’s perfect! It’s lightweight, the screen is bright and clear, and the orange color is super cute. It runs smoothly with enough memory for everyday use. Battery life is decent too. Great value!

Very slow with poor battery life
Maybe my unit is defective but it is super slow, laggy, and has terrible battery life, even when the battery saver is on and the screen is dimmed - even to the point that it's hard to read. It takes forever to boot up - like 5-10 minutes, and navigating the internet is frustratingly slow.Edited to add: no product support. I've contacted them twice because it's still under warranty but the company has not responded at all.It might have been worth about a quarter of what I paid. It's almost as slow as the 8-year old tablet I have. I assumed tablets have gotten a lot faster since then. Not this one. It's not worth your money. Spend a bit more and get a strong name brand tablet.

A1 Quality for very inexpensive price
This Callsky tablet is solidly made. Works great, has vibrant screen, plenty of memory. I am a general web user, email, youtube, news, spotify, wikipedia, sports scores and videos. This tablet handles all this well.

No location services = No Google Maps or Waze.
The only reason I bought the tablet was because my old beat up Lenovo 10" tablet is so slow as to be too much of a pain to deal with anymore. I only use it for Google Maps (it's so slow, it crashes when trying to use Waze), and the screen is covered with cracks. It works, it's just painfully slow and I don't always have time to wait for it to boot up, go through two login screens (I hate that so much) and then wait for it to crawl through loading Maps, and eventually letting me enter my destination for work. I would literally take more than 5 minutes just to do this. My desire to not spend so much time just to enter a Google Maps destination, and to get something a bit smaller to fit my desired spot in the car are the sole reasons I got this new tablet. After 3 years, I was looking forward to having something that would work faster, and not have a screen covered with cracks. It seemed responsive enough when setting it up (not lightning fast--there was a tiny bit of delay between icon presses and responses, but nothing I would care for, since I'd only use one app anyway). As I was selecting apps to transfer across (many are mandatory for the OS to work properly), I didn't recall seeing Google Maps or Waze. I went to the Google Play store to install Waze first (because it gives more accurate times to leave my house to get to jobs), and it said it the device could not install or run it (I forgot which one). I thought that was odd, but I was trying to get leave the house, so I just dismissed it and tried to use Google Maps instead. I turned on my phone hotspot and got the tablet connected while sitting in my car inside the garage as I have always done with my other dinosaur tablet. It said "GPS unavailable". I thought that was odd, and a bit concerning since that never happened before in my garage. I dismissed it, thinking maybe it just needed to get outside since it is a budget device. 3 or 4 minutes, and about 2 miles down the road and it still said GPS unavailable on Google Maps, and the map would not update to show my vehicle moving. Frustrated, I switched to the directions list so I could try to read the directions to work, which was a pain. After a minute or two of that nonsense, tried to open the settings, thinking maybe the location service had to be turned on. There wasn't any to be found. There are very few options for turning things on/off, so it wasn't something that could be easily missed. That immediately made me realize why the device wouldn't even bother allowing me to install Waze. I had never even considered a mobile device would be manufactured without location services. Now I realize that is one of the features that isn't standard across the board--a budget tablet probably won't have it, so it is of no use to me. The low resolution screen was fine, and I actually didn't mind the bright orange tablet and case being the only colors available. It even has a bright orange rubber-coated charging cable which was pretty cool since I'd never seen an orange one before. But This tablet won't work for my only intended purpose, so I have to return it. It's unfortunate because it seems like a decent product considering how inexpensive it is. Just be warned that if you intend to use any app that requires location services, this tablet will not work, and might not even allow you to install the app at all. I will have to return it and spend several hundred on a Samsung model, I guess. I don't want to experiment, because this tablet didn't mention the limited feature set, and I'm ready to retire this old raggedy Lenovo dinosaur that I unfortunately had to use again this morning.
