It’s definitely a cute book shelf. A little on the short side and that’s coming from someone who’s 5ft. Also slightly off kilter, I had to fold up a paper and stuff under a leg to keep sturdy. It’s a beautiful color and goes great with the rest of the furniture. I bought this for my nursery to match the dark cherry 🍒 and it’s perfect. I’m definitely happy.

I am very satisfied with this book shelf. I pondered getting it ($103) and kept it on my list. Amazon warehouse had a deal $40. I got it and it was pristine condition!!!! Beautiful. Exactly what we wanted. Four stars because I would say $100+ a little steep for what you get. The backing isn’t cardboard like some book shelves but it is thin. Overall studiness is pretty good. Much better quality than some of our other kidkraft furniture.

Purchased to replace the tall bookcase in my girls room. They are two yrs old and was concerned about tipping or falling. My girls have quite a few books and toys that I put on the shelf and was also limited to a specific dimension due to lack of space. This bookcase fits perfectly.The bookcase is beautiful. The color is rich.Puts together well.Not solid wood but doesn't look cheap at all.The back panel is not cardboard.Comes with a tether anchor to secure to the wall.My only issue is I don't think it's deep enough. Some of the girls extra large books don't fit. However, I am used to the bigger bookcase so I am not going to change my rating for that.Overall, I love it and would recommend to a friend.

This is a great bookshelf for a child’s room. The quality is superior to most other build-it-yourself varieties from the big box stores, and assembly was simple. I did it myself in about 30 minutes. The espresso color matches my son’s existing furniture perfectly. I like that the shelves are tall enough to accommodate large picture books, which is something other bookshelves are lacking. This is a sturdy, handsome product that should have many useful years ahead.

Excellent quality and price, has the look of quality wood and not particle board. Can be assembled with little difficulty and takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Also comes with a harness to attach to the wall so it does not inadvertently fall. It can be suggested to weigh down the bottom shelf with books to prevent toppling over as this item is not heavy overall and may need fastening to the wall for child safety. Kidkraft makes outstanding quality desks and furniture for children use. Have purchased a table with two chairs and found it is of high craftsman workmanship quality. In future will purchase other children's furniture from this manufacturer.

Product works great in the nursery. I don’t think it will stand up to heavier books than children’s books. Easy to assemble. Looks exactly as advertised.

This book shelf surpassed my expectations. It is sturdy and roomy and the colour matches my granddaughter’s bedroom furniture perfectly. Assembly was quick and easy. The only thing that would make it better is an additional shelf for more storage.It is nice enough to put in my living room so I might purchase one for myself.

Good quality bookshelf. Easy to assemble.Only 1 con was that the packaging was marked "white bookshelf" and I almost returned it until we decided to open it up and found it to be espresso coloured (what we ordered).

Great bookshelf for my sons room. Was taller than I had thought, but that's a good thing. Lots of room for all his things and has an anchor to attach to the wall.

It looks good once it's put together, but all of our back panels came warped and one of the back brackets seemed to be improperly sized. We had a hard time putting it together since all of the pieces were warped. It looks good now but it wasn't worth the hassle and it's not worth more than $50. A little disappointed :(
